WE CARE
ABOUT:
The well-being and
success of all employees—
professional and personal
fulfillment is very
important.
The success of our
clients—our goal is
to deliver value and
drive results.
The satisfaction of
our location partners—
they are integral to our
success and deserve exceptional service.
The communities in
which we live and work—
seeing opportunities to
give back to others
In April, Scott Pfaltzgraff (Ops
Mgr, MN), cub scouts and boy
scouts from Troop 446 participated in Scouting for Food by
collecting food donations from
neighborhoods in Eagan, MN.
Their efforts led them to
gather over one ton of
food. With use of a CTM van,
the MN office assisted with
the collection process and
helped transport the items to
the Open Door food pantry
which helps families in need
throughout Dakota County.
Here’s to our CTM community
support!
REMINDER!
Be sure to use your
1st 2016 Volunteer Day
before June 30th.
Please review the
CTM Volunteer Leave
policy for details and
eligibility. Contact HR
with any questions.
Looking for an opportunity to
volunteer your individual time
and make a difference in the
community in which you live
and/or work? Is your local
work team looking for a
group volunteer opportunity?
The Boston office has been
assembling and distributing
marketing collateral for Lowell
General Hospital’s 17th annual
TeamWalk for Cancer Care
taking place on May 22nd.
TeamWalk funds help
cancer patients by paying
for medications, nutritional
supplements, wigs,
prostheses, support groups,
skilled nursing visits,
transportation, mini-grants
and supportive services.
Funds raised also go toward
Lowell General Hospital’s
Cancer Center to provide
assistance, support, and
services to help people feel
better, build confidence and
instill hope throughout their
battle with cancer.

We also presented at the

Executives. Attendees viewed
our new CTM video. After the
video, I reinforced a few points
about the unique targeted
audience and the high ROI
from a self-selected marketing
piece. The video really hit a
home run. We’re already working on new business as a result of these few minutes in
front of this important audience.
Connecticut’s Business
Breakfast on Tourism,
sponsored by CTM. The topic
was the economic impact of
tourism and Laura pointed
out that CTM has rented
office space for five years,
that CTM has employed a
summer driver for 3 years,
and that CTM has joined
and supported local
business organizations, as
well as non-profits. As a local
resident herself, she also
supports many small

The fact that we bring

are thousands of moments
captured in the minds of business people and families that
will last forever.
shout-outs
HUGE shout out to
Durrell Martin for designing
and building an official
Ettractions EB workshop.
He did an amazing job and
we are incredibly thankful
for all his hard work.
-Barry Greenstein
Major shout-out to Ali Ndour
for pulling through on the
ninth inning of all the installs
that we had over the past
month ~ the dedication
speaks for itself.
-Moey Hoque
BIG shout out to Scott Pfaltzgraff.
As we all know, Scott has
been very busy traveling a
lot in the last few months.
Somehow, he found time to
help Build A Bear Workshop
in Minneapolis.
Their expired rack cards
appeared in a display there
that was not ours and visitors
were bringing in the expired
cards to their retail store.
The client asked if we could
help by removing them. Scott
found the time to not only
remove their expired rack
cards but to replace them with
the updated rack cards.
Thank you so much Scott!
-Monietta Slay
Shout out to Keith Wallace for his
hard work with Jay Brooks to get
the new Cape Cod warehouse
integrated the CTM Way. It looks
great!

As I was working towards and
meeting with the respective
managers of the Dave & Buster’s in Woburn & Braintree,
they wanted to see how the
board looked in the Times
Square location.
Patrick Ferencz called on his
team to help and Moey Hoque
went there, out of his way, to
take a panoramic shot of the
lobby to assist in showing them
just how great the board looks
there.
When I walked into my first
meeting with the manager in
Woburn, she informed me
that she had called the
General Manager in Times
Square and that they LOVE
their Board, they LOVE CTM,
and they LOVE Matt Nardizzi!
After her discussion with the
D&B Times Square manager,
she had very nearly made the
decision before I ever walked
in the door.
Further, because we were
given such rave reviews, she
called the manager of the
other D&B in MA before I
left (and before I was able to
get face time with them myself)
to encourage them to meet
with me. Not only are we
working towards an
ExploreBoard, we are very
seriously discussing
distribution as well. The NY
team has done such a great
job and the customer is so
satisfied that I simply had to
show up! It made my job that
much easier!
-Rebecca Bershad
Gratitude to Durrell Martin
for making my office be
more functional and
looking wonderful!
-Ali Ndour
BIG recognition and kudos to
Wanda Melhado and David
Munoz in Florida. Over the past
three weeks, they were responsible for the installation of 16
ExploreBoards for a brand
new Lease Partner Digital
Network. This was on top of all
of the other responsibilities
they must attend to on
a daily basis.
Thank you both for all your
hard work and hustling to
get this done. There were
so many moving parts and
so many people involved in
the process, yet through
all the obstacles, you both
really hit a home run. Thank
you Thank you. Thank you.
- Bryan Clinger
Great work by Service Rep
Nick Carr in completing a
massive stand-swap project
across the state of Rhode
Island.
-Brian Bradbury
Shout outs to Kristina Woo
and Kristin Giron for all of
their extraordinary work on
the Maps in the Northeast.
Juggling so many maps at
one time and keeping them
all moving forward is
impressive.
-Brian Bradbury
Shout out to Steve Dartt,
Keith Wallace, and Nick Carr
from Boston Ops on a great
upgrade to our Rhode Island
Sector – we now have consistency in our stand sizes and
are able to touch base with
each location throughout the
winter season to show we care!
31 locations were upgraded
to larger racks!

Barb Mazur (Dir, Corporate
Support) trained the Stamford
Operations team on CTM’s
first “Self-Serve” inventory
checkout system. Just like at
the supermarket, when you
take something off the shelf, it
is scanned out before you
leave the store. CTM inventory
staff will now be upping the
bar on Inventory accuracy by
scanning out the brochures
they need, as they load their
CTM vehicles. Stamford is
testing this new idea,
recommended by Ron Bracey
(Inventory Control
Coordinator). So, stay tuned ~
there’s more to come!

-DURRELL MARTIN
Following January’s kick
off trip to the West Coast,
the Ettractions team, under
Amber’s leadership, has put
into place both staff and systems to handle the growth
that we are expecting from the
Certified Folder Partnership
this season.
Kathryn Duggan has joined
the team as a Digital Content
Editor. She has been very busy
creating over 500 profiles for
destinations including Vancouver, San Francisco, San Diego,
Los Angles Seattle, San Diego,
Orange County, Dallas,
Houston and San Antonio.
Now that we have content,
we need to make sure that
it is up and running 24/7
to get our customer the
best results.
So, the team added Priscilla
Ndikwani. An engineering
student by day, Priscilla works
in the afternoon and evenings
(to align with West Coast time)
as our Asst Network Support
Specialist. We are also
expecting to be shipping
Priscilla Ndikwani
dozens of ExploreBoards at a
time. So, Ali has carefully
redesigned the office in
Woburn to handle the volume
that will be coming. With this
new ExploreBoard building
station, he can set up 12
Players at the same time and
test them on any screen size.
Go team Ettractions!

A ‘ROW ’ING SUCCESS S TORY
APRIL SALES
STARS
- STEVEN GUERRINI
I know it’s hard for all of you to
believe, but I am speechless.
I don’t think I can even find the
words now to express how
thoroughly impressed I am.
Ashley maintained contact
with him for the following year,
meeting him a few times, and
calling him to check on his
growth often.
Ashley Wilson (Media Consultant) and Juan Rios (Service Representative)…...the Pirate paid off!
-CARRIE FISHER
Miami Plane Tours began
heavily pirating our stands in
January 2015. Juan Rios
brought back a pirate brochure and it was assigned to
Ashley Wilson.
After meeting with the owner,
he told Ashley they still did not
yet have the budget to cover
additional expenses.
(However, he mentioned that
for the month he pirated our
brochure stands, before we
caught him and pulled his
brochures out, he did realize
additional business. This later
reinforced his coming on
board with CTM).
In February 2016, Ashley followed up again, making a
random “checking-in” phone
call. He was very happy to
hear from her. His business
had grown a lot in the past
year, and he was ready to
start a distribution program.
He signed a 12 month agreement a few weeks later.
Kudos to Juan (and all the
drivers) for bringing in pirates.
They are an invaluable lead
source. Kudos to Ashley for
diligently staying on top of this
lead. Persistence pays off!
WRAPPING UP MAPS
DIANE SALVO
The Design team is busy with
their noses to the grind stone.
Map sales are up over last
year with many maps
expanding in size to accommodate new advertisers. New
maps this season include
Brooklyn, Top Things to do in
Washington, D.C.,
Brandywine/Delaware River
Valley, Democratic National
Convention, and Republican
National Convention.
Design team ~ Jesse Ricciardi, Kristin Giron and Craig Dobson
all mapped out!
CTM prints over 4 million
maps each year ~ with the
majority during the months of
April, May and June.
We are ROWing right now!
Darrell Adler sold 34 NEW
BUSINESSES THIS MONTH!
TOTAL OF 40K SW FOR THE
MONTH!
He doesn't have any new
products. He attributes this to
map and distribution sales, as
well as effective email blasts.
But, we all know the real reason, HE WORKS TIRELESSLY
COLD CALLING!! Again, I don’t
know how to say what an excellent job this man is doing. Outstanding, brilliant, exceptional,
first rate..

2016 management offsite
MANAGEMENT
OFFSITE
-PETER MAGARO
In mid-April, the management
team gathered for a great
offsite held in Tarrytown,
NY. As the offsite focused
specifically on enhancing
leadership capabilities, our
goal was to teach and reinforce skills and best practices
that would enable our managers to more effectively lead
their teams.
In addition to a morning
workshop, facilitated by an
experienced leadership
consultant, our very own—
Jerry McConnell (VP,
Operations) graced us with
a repeat performance of his
ROW presentation Resiliency Onboard Winswhich focused on ensuring
all our work teams are
continuously ROWing in
the same direction and
with the same intensity
in order to meet our
individual and collective
goals.
We also discussed
the importance of overcommunication within our
teams and how the ‘sum of
all parts’, i.e. - each and
everyone one of us - impact
and influence the overall
success of CTM.
Many of us also had the
opportunity to participate
in a charitable experience
by putting together personal
hygiene kits for disadvantaged
men, women and children.
Thanks to a donation from
the CTM Media Charitable
Foundation to Family-toFamily, a 501c3 non-profit
charitable organization
(www.family-to-family.org),
we "stuffed" t-shirts with
various bath, oral, haircare
products, etc. and included
a positive message of hope
with each kit.
Our donations were
delivered to the Grace
Community Center in
Westchester county, NY
where they will be distributed
to those in need at their
on-site shelter. Everyone
enjoyed this great opportunity
to give back to our community
~ we even all wore our ROW
t-shirts.

Way webpage in the 2016
Management Offsite Album.
