2012 KX100DCF KX100 WORLD FAMOUS JUNIOR MOTORCROSSER The KX100 shares more than just looks with the bigger KX models. It is powered by a super-responsive liquid-cooled, 2-stroke racing engine and features advanced frame and suspension technology adapted from full-sized KX motocrossers. At both the amateur and professional levels, Kawasaki has long been a dominant brand in junior motocross. Many top professional riders started their race careers riding Kawasaki junior KX machines. The KX100s is economical and easy to maintain. KX100 owners also get the Team Green advantage with free hour meter, log book and parts kit. Engine *The high-performance 99cc liquid-cooled 2-stroke engine features the Kawasaki Integrated Power-valve System (KIPS®) that varies exhaust port height for increased horsepower and torque. Maximum power of 21.0 kW {29.2 PS} is produced at 11,500 rpm. Maximum torque is 18.4 N-m at 10,500 rpm. The cylinder is Electrofusion plated for efficient seizure resistance, heat transfer and long wear. *A Keihin PWK 28 semi-flat slide carburettor positions the nozzle jet close to the cylinder for sharp response across the rev range. *Precise, digital CDI ignition delivers a hot spark and reliable ignition. *A separate clutch cover gives easy access to the clutch for routine maintenance. The large air intake on the right side of the airbox improves airflow to the air cleaner.
