Fifth Annual Front Porch Days Plum Creek Neighborhood • Kyle, TX • 78640 • plumcreektx.com May 6-7, 2006 Official Event Program It’s time once again for the fantastic two-day event that Plum Creek puts on every year to showcase the neighborhood and all of the neighbors within… On May 6 and 7 we’re going to celebrate the biggest Front Porch Days event to date! The Fifth Annual Front Porch Days Celebration kicks off with our annual Community Wide Garage Sale on Saturday, May 6 from 8:00a.m. – 1: 00p.m. If you’re not selling, you will surely be buying as every home in Plum Creek (that’s over a thousand y’all) may be having a garage sale (on their front lawns). Also on Saturday (check-in is at 11:30a.m.), golfers unite to kick off the first EVER Front Porch Days Golf Tournament! Teams of four will compete for fabulous prizes (and eat fantastic Pok-E-Jo’s BBQ.) See entry form on page 3 and/or call Brandee Otto @ 405-0159 for more information on this event. The heart of Front Porch Days occurs on Sunday as the entire neighborhood becomes one big party! Guests are invited to park at designated spots near the DR Horton model homes and there will be a free shuttle service to the different areas of the neighborhood. There are four main areas chock full of activities within the neighborhood: Section 1 includes Plum Creek Square and D.R. Horton Model Homes, Section 2 is the Legacy Model Home, Section 3 is the McNaughton Park area (the park, Negley Elementary, and Rocking Horse Academy), and Section 4 is the Haupt Park area (the park, Community Center, Legacy Cottages). See page 5 for map. Sunday kicks off with the First Annual 5K Fun Run/Walk and Children’s 1K Fun Run. Whether you are a runner, jogger, walker, or stroller, you can participate! Young and young at heart alike. See registration form Page 7. The day continues with live music (see page 6 for details), radio remotes, inflatable games, a petting zoo, food, arts and crafts, contests, a presentation by a rose specialist (see page 7), and much much more. If you’re on the hunt for clothes, toys, furniture, electronics, or books, look no further than the Plum Creek Community Wide Garage Sale. Spend a few dollars and get a few treasures! People participating by hosting a garage sale are asked to display your items in the front yard. We’d like to have visitors steer clear of parking in the alleys. Also, please have everything put away by Saturday evening as Sunday’s Front Porch Days events are going to be all over the neighborhood and we want to look our best for all of our future neighbors! Let’s have a safe and great Community Wide Garage Sale! It is also the setting for the First Annual Front Porch Days Golf Tournament on Saturday, May 6, 2006.
