Energy day of Bosnia and Herzegovina BH-Gas d.o.o. Sarajevo Adnan Kreso, Director Jahorina, 14 June 2012 Natural gas sector highlights – Security of supply – strategic significance for each country gas sector; Upgrading pg g of security y of supply pp y is one of p priorities and therefore European p energy strategy envisages trans european development corridors, in order to connect European gas network with natural gas sources of Caspian region, Middle East and North Africa (confirmed reserves for over 100 years), all in connection with diversification of supply sources; Providing customers of natural gas with only one transportation direction and only one supply source puts BiH in the group of countries with the lowest degree of security of supply, i.e. countries of „high risk”, with the assigned i d risk i k factor f t off 4.0 4 0 (risk ( i k factor f t off West W t Europe E i in is i a range between 1.2 – 1.7); Priority development projects are those that provide new connections, and i particular in ti l new transportation t t ti routes t and d possibly ibl new supply l source.
