Summer-student fellowships
in Astrophysics and Instrumentation
The Centro de Estudios de Física del Cosmos de Aragón
(CEFCA) is opening three positions for a Summer-student
fellowship.
The positions will be offered to students who want to start
engaging into astrophysical research (2 positions) and
engineering/astrophysical instrumentation (1 position).
About CEFCA
CEFCA (www.cefca.es) is a research institution located at the city of Teruel (Aragón, Spain), in charge of
the construction and operation of the Javalambre Astrophysical Observatory (OAJ), where two different sky
surveys will be carried out (J-PLUS and J-PAS; j-plus.es and j-pas.org). On top of leading the construction
of the OAJ, their telescopes and panoramic instrumentation, CE FCA has a group of researchers, focused
mainly on Cosmology and Galaxy Formation and Evolution.
About the fellowship
The fellowship will start on 4th July 2016 and finish on 16th
September 2016.
Gross salary amounts to 700 Euro/month and a health
insurance is included in the fellowship.
The deadline for submitting applications is 6th May 2016.
