Nothing could be more romantic than to celebrate
your wedding in the idyllic settings offered by
Sirromet Wines at Mount Cotton Winery. Located
just 35 minutes from Brisbane’s CBD and
40 minutes from the Gold Coast, the Winery
is a licensed indoor-outdoor venue, with ample
car parking and facilities second to none.
With spectacular views and exclusively designed
wedding sites, on the edge of the serene lagoon
or in the picturesque vineyards of the rural property,

Sirromet’s Restaurant Lurleen’s is available exclusively
for a minimum of 80 adults and a maximum of 220.
Features include enclosed balcony, breathtaking views

and polished timber floors. Includes space for a band
and dance floor.
Barrel Hall
Sirromet’s Barrel Hall is available for a maximum of 100,
featuring authentic wine barrels, high ceilings and brick
arches, giving you that Cellar feel. Includes space for
a band and dance floor.

terms and conditions
CONFIRMATION OF BOOKINGS
Tentative bookings will be held for a maximum of 10 days. If
the function is not confirmed in writing and a deposit paid by
this time we will release the space.
DEPOSIT
We request a deposit of $3000 at the time of confirming the
booking. $2000 of this deposit is non-refundable.
CANCELLATIONS
Functions cancelled by the Client;
• In excess of 6 months prior to the function, the deposit (less
the $2000) is refunded in full;
• Between 1 month to 6 months prior to the function, the total
deposit will be retained;
• Within 30 days of the function, due to costs incurred at this
stage, you will be required to pay 75% of the total function
account.
• Within 7 days of the function, you will be required to pay the full function account.
• Wedding dates may be able to be transferred at Sirromet’s
discretion.
In the event Sirromet is required to cancel an event prior to
commencement, Sirromet will refund the deposit in full to
the client.
FOOD AND BEVERAGES
Please note that it is Sirromet policy that the bringing of
external food and beverages (other than wedding cakes) to
the function is not permitted. Non Sirromet wines are also not
permitted for decorative use (including table centerpieces).
Wedding cakes are required to be delivered on the day of the
function only. Beverages consumed on-site are only able to
be consumed as part of a tab or beverage package. Guests
are able to purchase cash drinks at pre lunch/dinner functions
at stage side of Cellar Door. Guests can also purchase cash
drinks after the formalities and desserts have concluded in
the function but no earlier than 10pm for dinner functions
and 3pm for lunchtime functions. Beverages are charged on
consumption as part of a tab and require a minimum beverage
spend of $35.00 per person. This amount is required to be
pre-paid and forms part of your final account and no refunds
will be provided where the quantity of beverages consumed is
below the minimum beverage spend.
MENU SELECTION
Confirmation of food and beverage menus and final guest
numbers is to be made at least 14 days prior to the event,
or as otherwise advised.
GUARANTEED NUMBERS
Changes to final guest numbers are required in writing (mail,
fax or email) no later than seven working days prior to the
function (minimum numbers based on adults). Payment
for minimum guest numbers is required for both food and
beverage component of the event. This guest number will form
the basis for the minimum amount to be charged. Special
dietary requirements to be advised a minimum of 48 hours in
advance. Minimum 100 guests required for private functions
booked outside of normal trading hours.
ROOM HIRE
As Friday and Saturday nights are premium trading nights,
the following room hire fees and guest numbers apply:
Restaurant Lurleen’s - min 80 guests maximum of 220.
Room hire Friday night $1000.00, Saturday night $1500.00.
Barrel Hall - minimum 60 guests, maximum of 100 guests.
Room hire - Friday night $1000, Saturday night $1500.
Tuscan Terrace - minimum 80 guests, maximum of 150
guests. Room hire Friday night $1,000 Saturday night $1,500.
PREPAYMENT
Sirromet will provide the Client with an estimate of the cost
of the function no later than 14 days prior to the event. We
require 50% of the expected total cost (based on minimum
spend requirements) of the function to be paid three (3)
months prior to the function. Full payment of this estimated
cost is required by cash, credit card, direct transfer or bank
cheque no less than seven (7) working days prior to the
commencement of the function. Additional costs generated
on the day must be settled by credit card or cash at the
conclusion of the function. No outstanding balance will be
held on account.
PRICES
Function prices are current at time of presentation to Client,
however may be subject to change. These prices are subject
to change up to 4 weeks prior to the function and any changes
will be notified in writing.
SURCHARGES
A surcharge of up to 15% may be applicable for functions held
on a Sunday and/or public holidays. There is a 2% surcharge
for payments made by credit card.
PACKAGES
Sirromet’s complete packages are subject to normal terms
and conditions. Changes to the packages are subject to
Function Coordinator and will incur additional charges.
ACCESS AND SETUP
Room access for daytime and evening function is available
2 hours prior to the reception commencing. Room access at
other times and the use of any other area within the winery
property is subject to the Function Coordinator discretion and
subject to the contracted reception times. Function guests
will be limited in their access to certain areas of the property
and within certain times (including the function area for setup
purposes as above). If Sirromet staff are required to assist
in the setup of your decorations, a setup fee will apply. Your
Function Coordinator will set up your place cards, seating
plan, guest book, menus, wishing well, table numbers and
bonbonnieres at no additional charge.
Access times are confirmed with external suppliers seven
(7) to fourteen (14) days prior to the function. All setup
requirements (including setup times) must first be agreed with
the Function Coordinator and must not interfere with any other
Sirromet Winery trading. All photographic requests must be
discussed and agreed prior to the function.
EXTERNAL SUPPLIERS
Sirromet reserves the right to restrict access times for
external suppliers (other than 2 hours prior to the function
commencing). Removal of all decorations supplied from
external suppliers is required at the conclusion of the event
(including vases, chair covers and sashes). In the case that
Sirromet staff are required to remove decorations, a removal
fee will apply. Fog and smoke machines, jelly balls and
sparklers are not permitted for use in function areas. Tea lights
are able to be used for decoration purposes but will
be required to be placed in holders.
DELIVERIES
Prior notice of all deliveries to Sirromet must be given to the
Function Coordinator. Please supply the Function Coordinator
with contact details of your suppliers for our reference.
PHOTOGRAPHY
Clients having a function on-site are able to utilise most areas
of the property for photography purposes. Please speak to
your Function Coordinator for any restrictions that may apply.
Photography restrictions will apply to smaller functions not
having exclusive use of the venues. Prior approval may be
required in certain areas e.g. laboratory.
CLIENT RESPONSIBILITY
It is your responsibility to ensure that all guests/attendees
behave in an orderly manner during the event. You hereby
accept responsibility for any and all damage howsoever
caused by guests/attendees. Responsible Service of Alcohol
standards are applicable at all times. Sirromet reserves the
right to refuse service of alcohol to any guest/attendee or ask
them to leave if their manner is not in accordance with the
above policy or otherwise acceptable to Sirromet. Alcohol will
not be served to guests under the age of 18 years.
INSURANCE
We cannot take responsibility for damage to or loss of items
before, during and after an event. All items left behind after the
conclusion of the event must be collected no later than close
of business the following day unless alternative arrangements
are agreed with the Function Coordinator. Sirromet accepts no
responsibility for items left on the premises during this time.
DAMAGE
Please note, you are financially responsible for any damage
sustained to Sirromet property during the event if damage is
caused by the Client’s wedding party, guests or suppliers,
including the Winery surrounds, buildings, furniture and fittings
in relation to the event. No attachments are to be used on the
walls and building without prior arrangement with Function
Coordinator.
SECURITY
Arrangements for security can be made at an additional
charge. Sirromet reserves the right to hire security for the
function at the client’s cost if deemed necessary.
WET WEATHER/UNFORESEEN EVENTS
As Sirromet has a duty of care for all persons on the Winery
property, management reserves the right to change the
location of a function due to unforeseeable weather or events
unplanned at the time of the guest’s booking.
EVENTS
Sirromet also reserves the right to book and hold A Day on
the Green events and other similar events and functions prior
to and after wedding dates that have been booked. Clients
will be notified in writing if this is the case. Weddings held the
day before A Day on the Green events will have a maximum
discount of 50% applied to their reception room hire only.
Alternate locations, dates and arrangements can be discussed
at your meetings with your Function Coordinator in this regard.
SMOKING
Sirromet winery is a non-smoking venue. Smoking is not
permitted in any of the buildings or surroundings. A designated
smoking area is located opposite the entrance to Restaurant
Lurleen’s.
