BFX Recommendation Letter for Benjamin Hawkyard
To Whom it may concern.
It is a pleasure to recommend my student Mr Benjamin Hawkyard for participation in the BFX
competition.
I am a Senior Lecturer in Game Development and course leader for the BSc (Hons) Software
Development for Animation, Games and Effects at the National Centre for Computer Animation
(NCCA) which is hosted by Bournemouth University, UK.
I have known Mr Hawkyard since the 2014/2015 academic year, first as a lecturer and then in the
current academic year as project supervisor/tutor for a computer animation group project. Having seen
Mr Hawkyard work on this group project, I would characterise him as follows. He is intelligent, hardworking, diligent and reliable, making an excellent contribution to the group dynamic and providing
effective leadership and coordination while simultaneously listening to the group. The work he
contributed to the group project included models and animations of a good quality as well as various
scripts to automate production processes. I believe he would be well suited as a general TD or for
similar roles.
In conclusion, I can recommend Mr Hawkyard to you very highly and without any reservation. Please
