Recently we received (2) very nice letters for
our donations. One from Shriners Hospital
and one from A Kid’s Brain Tumor Cure. We
will have copies for all to read at our October
20 Meeting.

newsletter our Annual Chapter Meet (Oct. 10)
will be over, but thanks to all who attended
and volunteered to make this event so
successful.
Remember, November is election of
QCNCRS officers. All positions are open
except for secretary and newsletter editor. If

great organization, please give Chris
Rockenfield a call.

Ceremony. Remember if you pay for dinner at
$50. per couple, your QCNCRS dues of $20
are paid.

Minutes September 2015
… Chris Rockenfield
The September 2015 meeting was held at
Kathy Plummer’s house. Steve Hack began
our meeting by thanking Kathy, her family
and her friends for having us at her home.
Steve noted there were no new members to
introduce at this meeting.
Otto Takacs (VP) was absent at this meeting.
Chris Rockenfield (Secretary) stated that
QCNCRS elections are coming up in
November, if you would like to be a board
member… all positions are available except
Secretary and Editor Positions.
Wayne McKee (Treasurer) gave the
Treasurer’s Report, a motion was made to
accept it and the club voted to do so. Wayne
also went over the Shriners’ hospital donation
presentation as well. Joe Sieve, (Membership
Chair) had nothing to report at this time.
John Ballard (Judging Chairman) reported
that the Wisconsin Regional meet was good
with very little issues. John also discussed
the QCNCRS chapter meet being held on
October 10, 2015 at Columbia Chevrolet.
Event registration details are in the Driveline
and we have online registration.
Dale Maris (Web Master) had nothing new to
report at this time.
Joe Eyl (Technical session report) stated that
the judging seminar at Jerry Hilbert’s on
September 12th was great. Joe also stated
that C5”s are very hard to judge, and brought
up the topic of the club purchasing a scope to
help the C4 and C5 judging process. This will
be investigated and a report brought back to
the membership to review at a later date.
Paul Oslansky (Regional Director) was not
present.
Steve Hack took the floor to discuss OLD
NEWS: Corvettes of Carlisle had a lot of
members in attendance. Bruce Slattery
reported the club will move forward with
entertaining sponsorship for our club Swap
Meet. Steve reported that we had 50 people
at the club picnic, and that Allen King has
generously opened his home to us next year
for the annual QCNCRS picnic and a road
tour of some of the covered bridges in
Indiana. Joe Ely stated that we had eleven
cars for the road tour to our Fernbank park
picnic and that qualifies us for club “Top
Flight” status.
In NEW NEWS: Steve stated that the
Pumpkin Run is coming up on Oct. 2nd- 4th
and many members will be there to hand out
flyers for our swap meet. Steve stated that
QCNCRS judged event will be on October
10th, WE NEED JUDGES!!! You can register
online at www.ncrs.org/forums/register/eventsubscription.php. Please sign up to help.
On Oct. 11th the Jack Roush Car Show in
Manchester Ohio will be held. Steve also
brought up that the Texas Regional is being
held on Oct. 22nd-24th, and also reminded
everyone again that the ELECTION OF
OFFICERS will be in November.
In wrapping up the wonderful evening, Steve
wanted to remind everyone to save the date
of December 6th for or QCNCRS Christmas
Dinner.
In closing, split the pot was announced.
Remember that next months’ meeting will be
at the Slattery’s on October 20th. Thanks
again to Kathy Plummer, family and friends.
