The iParc ® system was designed to take advantage of Microsoft ®’s state-of-the-art .NET ® technology – a one of a kind solution for the Parking and Facility Management industry. iParc ® utilizes industry standard Ethernet (TCP/IP) communications to enable simple solutions to take advantage of a full range of off-the-shelf network solutions. Real-Time Transaction and Count Monitoring The iParc ® solution gathers all transactions from parking devices and access control points in real-time. As messages are received, iParc ® stores the transactions in a Microsoft ® SQL Server database and simultaneously displays them on a graphical map that mimics the site layout. Any exception message from a device may be designated as an alarm, which will be displayed on the map and can be configured to trigger email and cell phone notifications. As well, lot counts and occupancy status are readily available on screen at all times. In short, iParc ® provides a flexible count strategy which may be based on ticket and card transactions, input counts (gates or loop activity), directional counts and also handle lot full events configured to trigger gates and signage. Each report may be easily customized by selecting a time and date range to focus the report to only the information required. Such specific reports may be saved as a template for use at a later time. Additional reporting functions include iParc ®'s Crystal Reports (for enhanced charts, graphics), the ability to view and export reports in a variety of formats (PDF, email, Excel ®), and a report scheduler that automatically prints or emails reports. With the iParc ® Contract Management option, how and when accounts are billed is flexible. This includes flexible billing periods, flat or variable rates, pre-pay debit, auto-charge credit card on file, and auto-invoice options, for example. iParc ® Contract Management’s key features include the ability to: • Automatically disable contract cards for delinquent accounts according to user-specified rules • Automate invoicing, credit card auto-replenish, and late notices based on pre-determined, user defined schedules • Send automatic e-mail notification to your contract parkers when credit cards are charged. • Automate daily maximum rates for debit contract parkers. • Automate monitoring and overage fees for accounts where more cards are issued than allocated parking space, with the optional Carpool Module. • Provide in-lane account balance display to your contract parkers using the Amano AGP-3000 iDisplay. • Link all transactions and charges to General Ledger accounts. • Provide online bill-pay to your contract parkers, with the optional miParc module. Simplified Management of Contract Cardholders Single-Source Security and Alarm Monitoring iParc ® allows your contract cardholder database to be managed from your browser. All contract cardholders can be grouped by account with up to three access cards assigned to each cardholder. Cardholder profiles allow you to precisely configure access rights once and then simply assign the appropriate profile to each cardholder – thus saving time. Batch operations allow you to apply changes to large groups of cardholders in one operation. The search features provided enable the end user to quickly locate specific cardholders, or groups of cardholders. Customized fields may be defined to track additional cardholder data specific to your business, such as vehicle information, decal, phone number, tenant residence information, etc. iParc ® includes sophisticated access control features. These allow one system to control access to parking lots, facilities and buildings. The distributed architecture utilizes localized intelligent controllers that provide superior response time when a card is presented and local access decisions are made. Thus, operations are not interrupted should the server be unreachable. All card readers and keypads that use a Wiegand or clock/data output format, as well as any card data format are supported. Key features include supervised input monitoring, input shunting, anti-passback, user-defined alarms, local door-held-open alarm, input-output linking, and multiple door shunt durations.
