The SAFIRE Project
The SAFIRE Project is an acronym for Stellar
Atmospheric Function in Regulation Experiment.
The SAFIRE Project is a real laboratory experiment incorporating a number of instruments
including Mass and Optical Spectrometry, Langmuir Probe, RF and Microwave, Power, Thermal
and other means to concurrently collect data from the intense plasma discharge observed.
The data is then used for analysis using Design of Experiments methodology to develop
mathematical models and correlate the findings with contemporary Heliophysics (solar physics)
data and observations.
