Measure. Measure your window. Most important
is the surface inside the rubber seal or the window
frame. It is recommended to leave a space of 2 mm
between the film and the window frame.
3
Cut. Lay the film on a clean, smooth surface (not
on a carpet because of static charging). Cut the
1 a ruler and a cutter to the desired measufilm using
rement. Note: The sun protection film has a slight
yellowish tint! In order to prevent scratches it is
1 with transparent protection film on both
provided
sides. These are clearly thinner than the sun protection film and completely transparent.

Clean the window. Clean your window using a
commercially available glass cleaner. A completely
clean window surface is a prerequisite for the successful application of the sun protection film.
Spray the window. Mix a few drops of washing
up liquid with cold water in a spray bottle. Spray
the window (interior side) generously with the mixture. The generous use of this mixture allows for
easy positioning of the sun protection film on the
window. Note: The use of water is essential for adhesion of the film!
5
Remove the first protective film. Pull the protective film, which is found in a rolled-up state on the
inside, off the sun protection film. Start in a corner
to do this. Immediately after pulling off the transparent protective film, apply the sun protection film
to the window. Separate the sun protection film
gently, to prevent it from coming into contact with
itself. Note: be sure to protect the sun protection
film from dust and lint once you have removed the
protective film!
6
Apply the sun protection film. Place the side of
the sun protection film from which you have removed the protective film onto the wet window (interior side). After you have generously pre-sprayed
the window with the mixture, the film can be easily moved into the correct position. If this is not
possible, remove the film and re-spray the window
generously. Warning: do not use adhesive with the
sun protection film! The film adheres statically without adhesive!

Spray the film surface. After you have positioned
the sun protection film, spray the front side of the
film with water. This is necessary in order to facilitate the next step and to avoid damaging the film.
8
Squeeze out the water. Now completely remove
the water between the window and the film using
the provided rubber squeegee starting from the
inside and working towards the edges. Use a soft
cotton cloth to remove traces of water and the
squeezed-out moisture. Note: ensure a careful
working of the edges. The edges and corners of
the sun protection film should not have any contact
with the rubber seal or window frame. Otherwise
this could have a negative effect on the adhesion
of the film to the window.
9
Remove the second protective film. Now that
the sun protection film has been applied to the window, the second protective film can be removed.
To do this, loosen the film which is still on the sun
protection film starting at one corner and remove
it carefully and completely from the sun protection
film.

NOTES
• The transparency of the film will improve after 2 – 3 days, once the water
residues between the film and the widow have evaporated.
• Only use the film on the interior side of the window.
• Many window manufacturer’s guarantees become void once film is applied
to the window. Window film does not break glass. However, it can make
an already existing defect visible or accelerate its course. Cases of glass
breakage are very rare.
• The sun protection film adheres exclusively to clean, smooth glass surfaces.
The film does not stick to satin finish or textured glass surfaces.
• In order to ensure a successful installation do not apply the sun protection
film to heated window surfaces.
• With film applications onto larger windows we recommend using the help of
a second person.
• When measuring and cutting the film, use the product’s existing edges and
corners wherever possible.
• Always move from the centre towards the edges when using the squeegee to
squeeze out moisture.
• By putting multiple sheets together you can service any window size.
• Cleaning: The foil can be cleaned using commercially available window cleaners. Do not use any cleaning products with a high alcohol or spirit content!
