What is an air ionizer?
It is a device which uses high voltage to ionize, or electrically charge molecules
of air. These machines can be designed to either generate specifically charged
ions (all positive or all negative), or to create both polarities.
Allergens such as dust, bacteria, mold, smoke etc are easily inhaled. These
particles which are positively charged will be bonded (opposites attract) by
negative ions produced by the ionizer. These particles which can easily be
inhaled then becomes too heavy to float around. Instead, they become larger
pieces of dirt on the ground where they can be cleaned by normal means.
Studies have shown that natural surroundings such as mountains and
waterfalls produce large amounts of negative ions. It is no coincidence that
throughout history, mankind has gone to these places to rest and recuperate,
particularly from respiratory diseases.

This type of humidifier is sometimes
preferred because it is considered to be
safer as there is no hot water present
in the unit and therefore no risk of

It is important to use a humidifier only when conditions require it, such as in a very
dry environment where moisture is needed to relieve physical discomfort of dry
nose, throat, lips and skin.

Recommendations for care
Fill tank with preferably distilled water or water with low mineral content such as
reverse osmosis water to prevent build-up of scale.
Minerals in tap water may increase the development of crusty deposits, white
dust or scale in humidifiers. Scale can be a breeding ground for
micro-organisms, such as bacteria and molds. Breathing mist containing these
pollutants is detrimental to health.
Regular cleaning of the humidifier is very important preferably daily or at least
every third day. Always switch off and unplug the unit from electrical socket.
Empty the tank and use a soft brush or scrubber to remove any scale, deposits
or film that has formed on the sides of the tank or on interior surfaces.
Wipe all surfaces dry, refill the water and add our Antimicrobial concentrate
which is specifically formulated for use in humidifier to deter growth and
neutralise micro-organisms in the water tank.

• Shower body with warm water
• Add 2 - 3 caps of Aroma Concentrate in a bucket/tub of warm water, wet entire
body with it. Or mix 1 cap into water using standard (500ml) sprayer bottle,
shaking thoroughly and spray all over body.
• Leave it on for 15 - 20 seconds, rinse off and rub sea salt or lather body with
any bath foam as usual feeling rejuvenated after this process.
Foot Spa
• Place a bucket of warm water with a tablespoon of salt and pour 2 - 3 caps of
Aroma Concentrate.
• Pamper and soak your feet for 20 mins to enjoy the wonderful aroma. It is a
simple yet important session to revitalize those tired feet.
As Air Freshener / Room Sprays
• Just mix 1 cap of Aroma Concentrate with water in any sprayer bottle and

Usage of Pure™ Antimicrobial Concentrate
In water air revitalizer (Diluted Application)
To be used together with Pure™ aroma essences for promoting better air
quality.
• Fill air revitalizer bowl with 1500ml of clean water or slightly above mid-level.
• After adding Pure™ Aroma essence into water, squeeze 1-2 squirts or
approximately 10ml of Antimicrobial Concentrate.
• Replace air revitalizer cover and switch on power supply
For General Cleaning (Diluted Application)
• Add 2 - 3 squirts of Antimiceobial Concentrate per litre of water and clean area
and surface with sponge, mop or cloth.
To Disinfect Hard Surfaces (Concentrated Application)
• Apply full strength to surface, wetting thoroughly with spray, sponge and mop
by immersion in Antimicrobial Concentrate.
• Allow surfaces to remain wet for 10 minutes.
As An Odour Eliminator/ Prevention of Mold and Mildew
(Concentrated Application)
The Antimicrobial Concentrate must come into direct contact with the offending
odour and use it undiluted. After treatment, we highly recommend using our
Pure™ Aroma Essence to enjoy better air quality and experience the holistic
practice of Aromatherapy.
• Pure™ Antimicrobial Concentrate is safe to use around children. Use to
disinfect children’s toys, playpens, playhouses, diaper changing tables, strollers,
cribs, child car seats, play tables, etc.
• Eliminating bacteria, viruses and fungus can involve strong chemicals that can
trigger health problems, but our Antimicrobial Concentrate controls mold and
bacteria by oxidizing it instead of bleaching it. It is so mild, you can wash your

Some Useful Tips To Remove Odours
Odours from Home / Office Air Conditioning System
Fungal spores and bacteria thrive in moist surfaces and when released into the
air, these micro-organisms trigger allergies, cause illnesses and produce odours.
Pure™ Antimicrobial Concentrate is highly effective in eliminating bacterial and
fungal organisms found in air conditioners.
• Switch off electrical supply to air-con at main socket
• Remove air-con filter and wash away dust and dirt
• Spray Antimicrobial Concentrate directly on cooling fins until wet but avoid
spraying at or near electrical circuitry
• Wipe off excess moisture flowing down the cooling fins
• Replace cleaned filter into air-con and switch on the air-con
It is recommended to perform the above at least once a month. During the
quarterly servicing of your air-cons, you may hand the Antimicrobial Concentrate
to the servicemen for thorough disinfection of all vents, cooling fins and pipes or
air ducts of the air-con system.
Carpet / Curtain / Fabric Odours
• Spray / wet and brush area with Antimicrobial Concentrate. This includes
underneath or behind.
• Allow to dry
• If odour persists, repeat the above procedure.
For liquid spills etc, use Antimicrobial Concentrate together with carpet or
upholstery shampoo.
Odours On Floors
• Squeeze 3 - 4 squirts of Antimicrobial into bucket containing water together
with floor cleaning solution.
• Mop or wipe as usual and you will be pleasantly surprised with the results.
Pet Odours
• Spray Antimicrobial Concentrate directly onto pet bedding or holding cages.
• Brush into surface and reapply if necessary.
• Pat dry with a cloth or sponge and let air dry.

To control urine and faecal odours, a daily treatment of 4 - 6 sprays directly onto
the spot and brush Antimicrobial Concentrate into the surface, pat dry, reapply
and let air dry.
Kitchen Odours and As Kitchen Disinfectant
Pure™ Antimicrobial Concentrate can remove most common kitchen odours,
even the foul odours of garbage disposals and drains.
• To treat sinks, fill basin 1/4 full with hot water.
• Add 1 squirt of Pure™ Aroma Essence (any scent) together with approximately
100ml of Antimicrobial Concentrate. • Stir and mix well, then release
Antimicrobial into the drain.
• When basin is empty, run cold water down the drain for 30 seconds and then
spray Antimicrobial Concentrate into the drain.
Odours From Car Air Conditioning Units
• Stop the engine and spray 2 - 3 trigger sprays into all vents your vehicle may
have.
• Start the vehicle engine and turn the fan on high cool.
• Spray 10 - 20 times into the outside fresh air intake vent (located under the
cowl at the base of the windshield).
• Let vehicle run for 2 - 3 minutes.
• Wipe off any excess moisture coming out of the dashboard vents.
• With windows closed, turn your air-con system to Max air or re-circulation.
• Spray 5-10 times into the air in general, close vehicle doors and let it run for
4 - 6 minutes.
This should leave your vehicle not only odourless but most importantly free
from harmful bacteria. To enjoy fresh and beautiful scent, you may use our Car
Revitalizer together with Pure™ Range of Aroma Essences.
Other Uses
• Bathroom/ toilet cleaner, while travelling, carry Antimicrobial Concentrate in a
handy spray bottle as a disinfectant to sanitize and prevent contact diseases.
• Also effective in removing odours in shoes and shoe cabinets by simply
spraying and let air dry. The Antimicrobial Concentrate eliminates germs (i.e.
source of odour) found in shoes.
