TRAXXAS SAFETY RECALL NOTICE
Traxxas Model #77076-4 X-Maxx, #3360 VXL-6s Power System and #3365 VXL-6s ESC
Traxxas has received a number of reports that when the VXL-6s electronic speed control
(ESC) is pushed to the point of failure, either by vehicle modification or in extremely rare
instances, electronics failure, fire can result.
Affected vehicles are any Traxxas Model #77076-4 X-Maxx Monster Trucks
purchased by customers between November 2015 and February 2016.
Customers should discontinue driving affected Traxxas Model #77076-4 X-Maxx monster
trucks and visit their local Traxxas dealer to have new firmware and a fusible link
installed. If customers do not have a Traxxas dealer in their area, they should contact
Traxxas at 1-888-TRAXXAS (1-888-872-9927) to obtain shipping instructions to send
their VXL-6s electronic speed control back to Traxxas. Traxxas will install the new
