GENERAL INFORMATION
NOVATEX-TAPE is a woven cloth tape, provided
with a polyethylene protection and
a strong adhesive coating.
NOVATEX-TAPE is easy to tear, also lengthwise.
TECHNICAL INFORMATION AND PACKAGING
Thickness of tape: 0.279 mm.
Tensile strength: 112 N/25 mm.
Elongation at break: 9%.
Adhesion to stainless steel: 16 N/25 mm.
Temperature resistance: normal: -10°C up to 80°C;
+95°C for 30 minutes.
• Adheres to most surfaces.
Material of tape: polyester-cotton cloth laminated
to a PE backing.
Adhesive: high tack - natural rubber based.
Resistance to seawater: only occasional contact.
First test foundations based on PE, PP, silicones and
bitumen for adhesion (see each tape).
Shelf life: 24 months, keep dry, cool and
frost-proof.
