Veterans Memorials Bus Trip

North Pocono High School History Club
would like to honor our local veterans sacrifice by offering a free bus trip to Washington D.C.
to visit the World War II and Korean War Memorials.
The trip is free to any Veteran who served actively during either of the two wars. If the Veteran
would like to bring a guest, a nominal fee of $20.00 will be accepted. This is a one day trip with
the bus departing from North Pocono Middle/Intermediate School area at 8:00 am and returning
around 8 or 9 pm. Breakfast will be provided by North Pocono Bagel Shop and boxed lunch
will be provided. The bus will be stopping on the way home for dinner, but the cost will be the
Veteran’s responsibility.
We did not forget our Vietnam War heroes; a trip to their monument is being planned for the
spring of 2014.
