2nd NYC Veterans Resource Expo on June 5th 2015
Service Members, Veterans, Caregivers and Military Spouses: After the overwhelming success of the first NYC Veteran Networking and Resource Expo in
March, military nonprofit organization 360 Veterans will host the next one – free and open
to all Veterans, Families and Caregivers – on Friday, June 5, 2015 from 3:00 – 6:30pm at
the New York City College of Technology located at 300 Jay Street in the heart of Brooklyn.
We will bring together a multitude of nonprofit organizations, educational institutions,
businesses, corporate hiring partners and government agencies. Please see the graphic
below for a sampling of some of our event partners.
360 Veterans will provide a 360-degree full-resource experience for Veterans and their
families in which they will have access to a wide variety of critical resources and services, all
available to them in NYC, in one expo setting. Besides networking with potential employers
or business partners, attendees can participate in over a dozen of our signature roundtable
discussions, all centered on Veteran topics related to employment, education, business,
health, housing and transition. Sample roundtable topics include:

Funding sources for Veteran businesses;
Veteran entrepreneurship.
Pension and disability benefits counseling;
9/11 GI Bill schools and education and credential counseling;
Mentor business tables for matchmaking with small businesses;
VA home loan counseling and education;
CBS Leads the Way: We are very excited to also announce that our guest speaker will be
Richard M. Jones, a leading voice in the NYC Veteran community. Rich serves as the
Executive Vice President, General Tax Counsel and Chief Veteran Officer for CBS
Corporation. Rich was a non-commissioned officer in the US Army, where he served
honorably as a member of the 75th Ranger Regiment and 10th Mountain Division. Rich is a
life member of the American Legion and the Disabled American Veterans, and sits on the
Board of Directors of the Wounded Warrior Project and IVMF.
