Resource & Job EXPO for Veterans
April 20, 2015 —Goodwill Industries of Kanawha Valley, Inc. [GIKV] and the Veteran’s Administration [VA] are
collaborating on the Prosperity Center’s inaugural event.
The event, a statewide Veterans ONLY Resource & Job EXPO will be held Wednesday April 22nd at the new
Goodwill facility on Charleston’s Westside.
From 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM veteran participants will have an opportunity to work on resumes and practice
networking skills.
The Resource & Job EXPO will follow the classroom component and run from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM.
Over 60+ vendors from a wide variety of industries have registered to provide resources, recruit, interview and
hire veterans who are seeking employment. Current list of participating vendors include:
