Summer Camp Safety Guidelines
To ensure that everyone has a safe and fun-filled summer, please make sure to review the following
safety guidelines (which are also available in the Here to There brochure)
Water Play
In order to participate in the water play activities, your child MUST have the following items. These
rules will be strictly enforced to ensure your child’s safety. All items MUST be labeled with your child’s
name and room number.

cubby. Take home any old
clothing.

Field Trips
Children must wear the school summer t-shirt, khaki shorts or pants along with closed toe sneakers or
comfortable shoes (open toe shoes will NOT be accepted).
1.
Make sure you child is signed up for the field trip(s).
2.
Arrive to school on time for the field trip. The bus will depart on time. If you miss the bus, you can
drive your child to the field trip and meet us there.
3.
Children under the age of 3 MUST be accompanied by a parent/guardian. (Parent/Guardian
must sign up and pay in advance to attend field trips).
4.
No EATING and DRINKING on the school bus.

Walnut Montessori-Preschool Academy would like to remind our families that the
school will be CLOSED on Monday,JULY 4th in observance of Independence Day.

Make sure you sign-up your child for the field trip as soon as possible! Seats are filling up
fast! Summer camp t-shirt is required for all the field trips as well as Khaki Shorts and
Sneakers (provided by parent). PLEASE SEE FIELD TRIP ATTIRE!
