Instructional sessions, top-rope climbing, and big multi-pitch climbs are all options. Your guide will provide suggestions based on your preferences and current climbing conditions. Trips may vary from 3 hour tours to 10 hour missions, depending on your desire. A truly unique mountain experience. Individual Please bring winter clothing (similar to what you would wear to the ski hill), lunch and fluids. Recommended gear list is attached, let us know if you need any clothing. What to Expect Each day is a custom adventure, but all trips will include: Transportation to and from the climbing site; All technical climbing gear; Safety briefing and equipment overview; Instruction on movement skills and belay techniques; Ability to modify length, difficulty, and/or style of climbing based on the group’s preference; and v A friendly and professional guide with a thorough understanding of the area and current conditions. v v v v v Target Audience This trip is a great introduction for new climbers or an exposure to local ice climbing for more experienced climbers. Suitable for all experience levels (no previous climbing experience necessary) ages 12 – 55+ with reasonable fitness. (Reasonable fitness is defined as the ability to climb a ladder, go for a short run or hike, and/or play a game of soccer). Provided Group Gear Helmets, harnesses, ice tools, boots, crampons, climbing hardware, ropes, emergency equipment, and backpacks. Timeline Meet in Jasper - The Rockaboo Inn 807 Tonquin – Start time will vary depending on preference. Custom timeline will be provided closer to the date based on conditions/options. TBD – Climb and explore Instructional sessions, top-rope ice climbing, gentle tours or big multipitch climbs are all possible. 1600 – Back in Jasper Time will vary depending on the trip.
