Dear Dream Lady,
I recently turned 60. I dreamed I was
parachuting away from a large birthday
party into a huge grove of palm trees that
had several giraffes wandering around. I
remember trying to guide the parachute so
I would miss the trees and the animals. It
was not a pleasant dream.

Dear Dream Lady,
I had the weirdest dream that I was
driving on a long, long dock in the fog. I
was scared because I did not know where
I was and I could hear weird sounds below
me like whales. However, at the end of the
dock, I saw my own garage, and I felt I
was not in harm’s way and was even more
surprised that my own garage door opener
worked to open the door! I drove in and
suddenly the entire garage separated from
the dock and we started floating away.
I woke up and remember feeling like I
should be worried about something, but I
was not. However, I don’t want this dream
again. What’s going on?

signifies security. The idea that your garage
goes off on its own says you are planning
something that gives your life freshness
Dear Barbara,
The parachute tells me you are trying
to get “up and away” from a situation
you find disturbing. A grove of palm trees
says you might have some friends who
disappoint you. The giraffes warn you to
mind your own business. Since you just
had a hallmark birthday I suspect you are
examining what you can change for the
future. Birthdays are good in that way,
