HOME PLATE CIRCLE - ARTIFICIAL TURF HALO KITS
Made from PREMIUM (SPIKE PROOF) 36 oz. Artificial Turf. Pre-cut to fit a 13' radius from back point of home plate. Must be glued to concrete or asphalt.
All seams are cut to fit like a puzzle. Only the outside edges get trimmed or tucked in dirt. Can usually be installed by grounds crew. Comes with or without a
foam-rubber backing. Foam-rubber backing provides more cushioning but is somewhat more difficult to install. Kits come 5' or 10' deep, with or without
wings.

SYNTHETIC TURF FOR BASEBALL & SOFTBALL
Ideal for batting tunnels, dugouts, bullpens, walkways, coaching boxes and locker rooms.
100% polypropylene, with 1mm rubber backing (for a firmer feel, especially for loose lay
applications), 5mm foam-rubber backing (for a softer cushion), black unitary polyurethane
backing. Can be installed outdoors or indoors on a compacted aggregate base or on
concrete. Comes in 12’ or 15’’ wide rolls. 10’ minimum order length.

BASEBALL 42 PREMIUM (SPIKE PROOF) - 42 OZ. POLYPRO PILE
Needs 2-3 pounds of sand infill per square foot if not glued to concrete.

BASEBALL 36 with 5mm foam and BASEBALL 42 with 1mm rubber backing have the same feel.
BASEBALL 42 is thicker not taller. Both provide excellent resistance to metal spikes.
PLEASE NOTE: Synthetic Turf is normally rolled face out. No charge to “reverse roll” cut pieces with turf faced in—which
makes it easier to install—doesn’t need to be flipped over.
There is a $50 charge per piece to cut the width and/or pre-trim the scrim fabric along edge and reverse roll so that each piece
will unroll with turf side up. For full rolls, there is a $50 charge for pre-trimming & reverse rolling.
If gluing to concrete, use Henry’s 663 glue from Home Depot if 65° or
warmer, Turf Claw™ if 55°+, or Nordot 34-G if 50°+. If installing over
compacted aggregate, you need to spike perimeter and tape (12” w) &
glue seams. Check current pricing for tape & glue per quantity needed.
If installing over macadam, be sure glue is compatible with macadam or
loose lay with 2-3 lbs. sand to weigh the turf down, plus tape & glue
seams. If gluing unitary backing, make sure glue is polyurethane
compatible.
For Batting Tunnels, all the above with foam backing are heavy enough
to not be glued or spiked, but adding 2-3 lbs. sand per square foot is recommended for more weight to prevent shifting.

Blending polyethylene and polypropylene gives excellent durability and wear resistance. An ideal choice for batting tunnels
and indoor facilities over concrete. Use of stance mats recommended for batting tunnels.
PLEASE NOTE: Synthetic Turf is normally rolled face out. No charge to “reverse roll” cut pieces with turf faced in—which
makes it easier to install—doesn’t need to be flipped over.
There is no charge to cut the length or reverse rolling, so that each piece will unroll with turf side up. There is a $50 per
piece cutting charge to cut the width, if necessary, and/or pre-trimming the scrim fabric along edge.
Cutting width: There is a 1/4” tolerance. You may be better to cut width on site with a utility knife, especially if there is any
variation in width of batting cage.
If gluing to concrete, use Henry’s 663 glue from Home Depot if 65° or
more. For 55°+, use Nordot 34-G. If installing over compacted
aggregate, you need to spike perimeter and tape (12” w) & glue seams.
