officer for Healthland. Appointed in July, 2013, Chris has extensive experience in bringing together
disparate technologies, systems and companies…then leveraging those synergies to help healthcare
organizations achieve better business results while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
Accelerating Healthland’s growth trajectory requires consistent operational and financial excellence. As
a result, Chris oversees execution of the company’s short and long-term strategies, including
integrating products and services to optimize the company’s value to community healthcare providers.
With clients requiring even more solutions to keep pace with future changes, his vision and perspectives
position the company for a strong future.
Before joining Healthland, Chris gained nearly 20 years of executive leadership experience at McKesson
Corporation, a healthcare services and information technology company dedicated to making the
business of healthcare run better. Since 2011, he served as President of their RelayHealth Enterprise
Intelligence business unit; during that time, he led multiple acquisitions to drive significant growth in
revenue and market share.
Chris grew up in the small community of Waseca, Minnesota. He earned a bachelor’s degree from
Hamline University and an MBA in Management from the University of St. Thomas. His deeply-rooted
Midwestern values, enriched by extensive travel during a long and stellar career, make Chris an
approachable and easy-to-like leader. He truly exemplifies the organization’s commitment to helping
healthcare providers succeed.
