Soprano Alfreda Burke performing on the PBS special: "Hallelujah Broadway"
Renowned Soprano Alfreda Burke will visit Limelighters Camp next Thursday.
Ms. Burke will speak about her career in concerts and theatre, participate in a
Q&A and perform a few songs. Ms. Burke has appeared in concert throughout
North America and in Europe. She worked with legendary director Hal Prince in
"Show Boat" (Kennedy Center/National Tour). Ms. Burke has worked extensively
in recordings, music videos, television, radio, film and commercials. She received
Master and Bachelor of Music degrees from Roosevelt University in Chicago.
