Looking for interest in an HBA Statewide DETROIT TIGER OUTING, Friday, August 15.
This would take the place of our annual Remodelers Tiger outing and will be held at either Comerica’s Party Plaza or Pepsi Deck. We are looking at taking a bus from Saginaw and riding
with Bay and Saginaw HBA members. Cost will be approximately $80-90/person including the
bus ticket, food at the park and game ticket. Family members welcome! I have a list started of

President’s Message: Chad Moody
Being a part of the trade organization that promotes the industry in which you work allows you to contribute to the issues that influence your job the most. I am very honored and proud to have served as your President for the last two years. I feel I was able to
offer support through some difficult issues. Being a member since the early ‘90’s, I feel I have seen a wide array of challenges and
feats for the associations.
As the proud leader of such a devoted group of industry partners, it is my charge to ensure the successful growth of our business
segment in Midland. No matter what branch of the home building industry in which you might be involved, the HBA of Midland
provides an outlet for networking, ideas and improvement. With an array of housing-related member businesses, forming affiliate
partnerships furnishes you with the resources needed for individual businesses to prosper. Plenty of opportunities for member interaction and industry involvement are presented in HBA events. Staying on top of governmental affairs, networking to meet potential business partners, volunteering for community service events, taking advantage of educational opportunities and attending
seminars are just a few of the ways that the HBA strives to prove beneficial and valuable to your organization.
It is easy to stay involved with the HBA. From monthly meetings and meals, to newsletters and golf tournaments, participating in
the HBA is more manageable than ever. We have worked diligently to create a functional website stocked with valuable resources
for all members.
I encourage you to stay involved with the HBA and encourage other to join our great association.
Chad Moody, President HBA of Midland
Associates Council
Hey Everyone, It was great seeing you all at our Holiday Party. In my opinion, there is no better way to close
out a year than friends, food, and fun. I want to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
P.S. I put in a good word with Santa, so hopefully he doesn’t put any coal in your stocking this year.
Sherry Mizer, Associates Council Chair
Remodelers Council
What an outstanding holiday party! Thanks to all those involved in the planning! We look forward to our next hosted meeting
January 22 by Stone Specialists! Also, plan ahead for the February 26 breakfast with Kyle Hunt, Remodel Your Marketing, at
Midland Resort, and the April 23 meeting hosted by Premier Tile and Stone. More to come on all events soon!
Have a safe and enjoyable holiday season!
