Contact)Info) FAQ’S on Schwans-Cares How long do I have to order? Schwans-Cares fundraising campaigns are 45 days long. Our campaign for St. Alphonsus starts on Monday, September 14 and runs until Thursday, October 29th. During this time, St. Alphonsus receives a 20% profit on any grocery orders and 40% profit on any electronic gift card purchases. f you use an electronic gift card to purchase your groceries, we get both profit %’s for the gift card purchase and the grocery purchase! After Thursday, October 29th, we have an additional 90 days to earn 5% on grocery purchases. The entire fundraiser is over on January 27, 2016. We can only do one fundraising campaign per school year so let’s show our support from now until the end of January! How frequently can I order? You can order as many times as you wish between Monday, September 14th and January 27, 2016. Annual Pie Drive? Schwans has many varieties of deserts and we will be able to help the North Hills Community Outreach once again this year by donating pies for Thanksgiving and Christmas. A separate flyer will be coming home at the beginning of October that will encourage any St. Alphonsus school family or parishioner who wants to donate to place an order that month. Will tuition credit be given if orders are placed? We are able to track orders per family on the Schwans-Cares website, and a master list will be provided so Manna credit can be given at the end of the entire campaign. Specific % amounts are still being calculated at this point. All orders are delivered to your home at a day and time you choose. If you miss your delivery, the food is then packaged in an insulated container that lasts up to eight hours at your house. Schwans-Cares Chair: Kristen Wentling [email protected] Schwans-Cares number is 1-855-870-7208. Order On-Line Instructions • Visit the Schwans-Cares.com website • In the Search Box at the top of the website, enter St. Alphonsus ID # 22560 • St. Alphonsus campaign (click on the box that pops up with our school logo) • Click “Shop to Give” At this point you have two options: 1. The “Buy Now” option allows you to purchase a $25 gift card to use to pay for your grocery items. If you use this method, the school will receive 40% profit for each gift card purchase. Since the gift card is electronic, it is sent to you immediately and you can use it to pay for your order. They are only for $25—and it is one gift card per email address entered If you use this option, once your groceries are purchased, St. Alphonsus gets another 20% profit back on the food items you’ve purchased, so it’s two different ways we can turn a profit. 2. The “Shop Now” option allows you to start shopping out of the grocery catalog and place your order paying at the end with a debit/credit card or checking account.
