One of the region's biggest races, the Jackson 100, roars into Brownstown Speedway in September. The Jackson 100 Tune-Up is September 13 with the Jackson 100 Weekend September 19-20.
The Brownstown Speedway is located at 476 East County Road 100 South, in Brownstown.

* Baby contest, seed spitting contest,
watermelon sack race and watermelon
eating contest
* Karaoke and fireworks, cake walk,
music, dancing and food.
* Parade at 1 p.m. Saturday, raffles, car
show and 5K Run/Walk.

The Seymour Oktoberfest will celebrate its 42nd year when the

Houston School.
