The steel roof structure spans like suspension bridges between the 70 meters high illuminated masts and allows for the column-free roofing of the four stands, which directly adjoin the playing field. On both sides of the central axis the hovering roof element is divided into an inner ring, transparent for ultraviolet light, and an outer, covered ring.
