Speakers
John Waldo | Trek (5th and 6th Grade)
NEW!
Sept 28-30
John Waldo has been speaking at youth camps and retreats for over ten years. A former Christian
camp program director, after school director, and pastor, John loves to make learning come alive for
students. Whether it’s a summer camp, weekend retreat, or a Purity and Holiness weekend, John
communicates the gospel in a practical and memorable way. He has been married to his wife, Linda,
for over 23 years and together they have four children, ages 21, 18, 16, and 15. They make their home
in mid-Michigan.
Micah Witham | Quest 1 & 2
(Junior High)
October 5-7 and October 12-14
Micah is the planting pastor at Awaken Covenant Community near St. Paul. He and his wife Laura have
been married 13 years and have 3 beautiful daughters. Micah enjoys fishing, playing golf and spending
time with his family doing all kinds of things his kids might enjoy. Micah loves talking about Jesus and
speakingto all kinds of audiences about the abundant life Jesus offers us right here and right now!
Craig and Molly Sanborn | Breakaway 1 and 2
(Senior High)
October 19-21 and October 26-28
What do you get when God brings a professional youth communicator of nearly 20 years
together with another passionate speaker who carries cheese balls on her back? The answer is
Craig and Molly Sanborn! Together, they make a rare and dynamic speaking team capable of
relating to both male and female audiences in a culture that is desperately looking for speakers
that practice what they preach.
Greg Speck | Crossing
(Junior High and Senior High Mixed)
November 2-4
After graduating from Bethel University, Greg started working with teenagers and has done that
ever since. Greg has the best job in the world and that is traveling around the world speaking to
teenagers and families. Greg has been a caseworker for emotionally disturbed and delinquent
teens, Youth Pastor, Youth Specialist for Moody Bible Institute, President of Youth Ministries
International and a friend to endangered woodland animals (that was very random). Greg has led
groups of teenagers on mission trips to the British Isles and all across Europe for over 20 years.
Greg is now the "Youth and Family communicator" for Bethel University in, lovely and tropical, St
Paul, Minnesota.
Worship Bands
Chris Mason Band | Trek
Chris Mason is local worship leader/artist out of the twin cities. Chris leads worship at Eagle Brook church
for junior and senior high students and for weekend services. He is also a worship leader for a Sunday night
community called "the well" They have been playing shows for the last few years at local venues at
churches around Minnesota. The passion of the Chris mason band is to truly be a light in this world through
music and spread the love of God to everyone they lead worship for.
Lightswitch | Quest 1, 2, and Crossing
LIGHTSWITCH is made up of 4 brothers who were raised on a farm in small town
Wisconsin, but their sound is anything but rural. Since their 2007 independent
release ("Lightswitch", featuring the single "I Wanna Know"), they've shared the
stage with many of the top names in Christian music, ranging from Sanctus Real
and Tenth Avenue North, to Kutless and Needtobreathe.
When a young band is lauded so, they can often lose focus on what matters
most. But Lightswitch is known as much for being approachable as for anything
else. The band's stated desire is to encourage this generation in their search for
God, and it is a desire that they live out both on and offstage.
Jeremy Sanoski Band | Breakaway 1 and 2
The Jeremy Sanoski Band has built a reputation for themselves by performing high-energy,
entertaining shows all while spreading the good news of the gospel through their music.
Jeremy Sanoski says "with every show, whether in a church or club, we want people to leave
feeling better about themselves." This is a pretty high calling for a group of 3 guys to do, but
they are committed to bring hope to all people through their music. On the bands website
Jeremy states "I feel like God has made me for this, and as long as He opens the doors, I'm
running through them!"
With rich, deep and thick guitar tones, solid beats and warm vocals the straight forward driving sound of The Jeremy Sanoski Band is
sure to impress all who listen. Trek
