Band Weaving Backstrap --- Sewing instructions
Sew bands to selvedges of your
beautiful handwoven back piece
bands should be 3.5 cm (1 1/4")
(weave a round band with flat ends for one side)
Fold down the corners as shown and stitch around all of the folded edges approximately 1/4" from the edge
Cut leather piece to fit on back side
Top stitch leather onto back
side close to the edge

Thread flat band into male
clip as shown
Sew female clip to flat end
of round band
