1 General Show Information Location Reno Sparks Convention Center Reno, Nevada Dates February 6-8, 2008 Exhibit Dates and Times Wednesday, February 6 Welcome Reception Thursday, February 7 6:00pm-9:00pm 10:00am-6:00pm Friday, February 8 9:00am-4:00pm Exhibitor Move-in Tuesday, February 5 Wednesday, February 6 7:00am-5:00pm 7:00am-2:00pm Exhibitor Move-Out Friday, February 8 Saturday, February 9 4:00pm-10:00pm 8:00am-12:00pm Social Activities A variety of social functions will be held in the exhibit hall to maximize traffic and encourage interaction. These will include the Welcome Reception and daily lunches. Assignment of Space NCBA reserves the right to rearrange the exhibit floor plan as needed. NCBA may relocate exhibitors at any time with the understanding that if the exhibitor does not agree with such relocation to the extent that he or she cannot participate his or her payment will be refunded. NCBA reserves the right to deny application for exhibit space if all or part of the exhibit does not reflect the professional character and/or standards of the meeting. Your booth space includes > 4 complimentary registrations per 10x10 space > 7”x44” identification booth sign with company name and booth number > 8’ back drape with 3’ draped side rails > Booth and aisle carpet (colors to be determined by NCBA) > general security Hanging Signs Exhibitors will be allowed to use hanging signs in the purchased booth space. All specifications, rules and requirements for hanging signs will be published in the exhibitor service kit. Exhibit Space Rates One booth 10x10 . . . . . . $1,000 1. Onsite at the 2007 NCBA Trade Show Multiple booth discounts: Purchase 2-3 booths and save $30 per booth. Four or more booths save $70 per booth. As in past years we will hold a space sales meeting onsite at the 2007 NCBA Trade Show. You will select and directly participate in your space assignment and be able to see the most current floor plan when it’s your turn to select space. How it works AIC and Gold level members will have the first opportunity to reserve booth space during the Allied Industry Council meeting. This meeting is typically held early during the week of convention. Allied Industry Associates and Allied Industry Partners will have the next opportunity to reserve space during the space sales meetings held during the week of convention. Booth sales are then opened up to all current exhibitors. 2. All exhibitors from the current year have until April 1, 2007 to reserve space. 3. Cancellation by an exhibitor of any portion of exhibit space reserved results in the following: Prior to September 1, 2007, full refund of any monies paid September 1-November 15th, a full refund less a $400 cancellation fee for each booth will be assessed. After November 15th, no refunds. Corner booth locations are an additional $100 (corner fees added after discounts have been applied) Premium Space: Exhibitors creating premier exhibit space (island) locations will pay a premium percentage in addition to the booth space investment fee incurred. The ShowGuide has a circulation of 55,000 and is distributed with the winter National Cattlemen as well as to all convention attendees. Exhibiting companies can use ads as a tool to drive traffic to their trade show space. National Cattlemen Exhibitors receive a special discount on ad space in the winter convention issue of National Cattlemen. This quarterly publication is the official publication of NCBA. It has a circulation of 100,000 and a reach of 250,000. The National Cattlemen is one of the leading publications for cattle producers in the United States. Web Advertising Beefusa.org is the official website for NCBA. It houses all the information for the convention as well as exhibitor listings and descriptions. Build an integrated promotion campaign in tandem with your exhibit by coordinating pre-meeting ads in one of the special annual meeting-related issues: > The fall issue of National Cattlemen has the Registration Brochure > The winter issue of the National Cattlemen is the convention issue promoting all the upcoming highlights for the meeting. > The ShowGuide highlights the NCBA trade show specifically and is an excellent way to drive traffic to your booth. Beef Business Bulletin The BBB is the official news source for members of NCBA. This monthly publication has a circulation of 27,000 and a reach of 54,000. 59% of readers believe that the BBB is better than the competition. The most preferred method of information delivery by both attendees and exhibiting companies is one-on-one interaction with exhibit staff either in direct conversations or in demonstrations.
