Disfunzioni mestruali – i pazienti con disfunzioni mestruali o iperandrogenismo accertato devono rivolgersi
a un endocrinologo per sottoporsi a una valutazione ed individuare un possibile trattamento di tipo medico.
Questi pazienti tendono a manifestare un irsutismo secondario al processo della malattia che potrebbe
rispondere al trattamento medico.
Epilessia – sono possibili reazioni epilettiche durante il trattamento.
Storia di melanoma: non effettuare il trattamento
Tatuaggi – non effettuare il trattamento su tatuaggi: rischio di bruciature e danneggiamento di pelle e
pigmenti.
Allergie – accertarsi della presenza di eventuali allergie a medicinali, lattice, alimenti o altre sostanze.
Non è un criterio di esclusione assoluto ma va valutato per eventuali contatti con allergeni.
Medicinali – con o senza prescrizione. Accertarsi di includere qualsiasi tipo di rimedio, in quanto alcuni
potrebbero causare fotosensibilità. I pazienti non devono assumere Accutane, anticoagulanti e farmaci
fotosensibilizzanti.
Storia di formazione di cheloidi – anche se esiti cicatriziali sono estremamente rari, essi possono essere
provocati dall’atto di togliere eventuali croste. Per questo motivo, si consiglia di escludere dal trattamento
persone soggette alla formazione di cheloidi.
Infezioni attive – infezioni attive e immunosoppressione compromettono la capacità di guarigione
del corpo. Riprogrammare il trattamento una volta eliminata l’infezione.
Condizioni generali della pelle precarie – il trattamento deve essere effettuato esclusivamente su pelle
sana e intatta.
Herpes nell’area da sottoporre al trattamento – il paziente deve consultare anzitutto il proprio medico per
individuare una possibile profilassi prima di iniziare il trattamento.
Uso di epilatori meccanici – interrompere l’uso almeno 4 settimane prima del trattamento.

Dal secondo trattamento l’esposizione ideale deve generare un lieve rossore. Se
non compare questo rossore la fluenza potrebbe essere troppo bassa.
Tuttavia entro 1\2 giorni tutto ritorna come prima (si può sentire anche un lieve
prurito ) .Le uniche creme da applicare sono quelle idratanti, a meno che si
abbia una reazione avversa eccessiva , in tal caso si utilizzano quelle con ossido
di zinco tipo Pasta Fissan Ovviamente se così avviene si deve ridurre la fluenza.

L’utilizzo di impacchi freddi e/o creme all’ossido di zinco o aloe vera dopo il trattamento riduce la
possibilità di comparsa di eritema ed edemi e arreca sollievo al paziente.
È normale provare una sensazione simile a quella di una lieve bruciatura solare. Generalmente dura
2-24 ore, ma può persistere anche fino a 72 ore, in questo caso applicare impacchi freddi o un
panno umido sulle aree sottoposte al trattamento per 15 minuti ogni 2-4 ore, fino a quando i
sintomi non scompaiono.
Fare il bagno o la doccia, come al solito. Le aree trattate potrebbero essere sensibili alla
temperatura: bagni o docce tiepide o fredde daranno sollievo.
Non utilizzare scrubber aggressivi o esfolianti, spugne naturali o scrub brushes, fino a quando l’area
interessata non sarà tornata alla condizione antecedente il trattamento.
Non esporre le aree trattate ai raggi solari. Utilizzare uno schermo totale se l’esposizione è
inevitabile. Evitare l’esposizione al sole ridurrà la probabilità di cambiamenti del colore della pelle.
7-21 giorni dopo il trattamento si noterà una sorta di ricrescita: non si tratta tuttavia di una ricrescita
dei peli, ma sono i peli trattati che vengono espulsi, rimossi dalla pelle.
I peli che erano nella fase di riposo (telogen) al momento del trattamento entreranno nella fase
attiva di crescita (anagen) dopo 1-6 mesi, a seconda della zona in questione.
I trattamenti di follow-up potranno essere effettuati entro 1-2 settimane dalla nuova ricrescita, in
media 35 giorni per il viso, ascelle e inguine; 45 giorni per il resto del corpo.
Evitare rasatura, ceretta, nuoto, hot tubs, e un esercizio fisico eccessivo nei 7 giorni successivi al
trattamento, o comunque fino a quando non scompare il rossore.
Se si formano vesciche o lievi abrasioni, applicare una pomata antibiotica sull’area interessata.
Non cercare di togliere eventuali croste, per ridurre il rischio di infezioni o cicatrizzazioni.

1.1 Raccomandazioni post-trattamento






È normale provare una sensazione simile a quella di una lieve bruciatura solare. Generalmente dura
2-24 ore, ma può persistere anche fino a 72 ore. A questo si può accompagnare un leggero gonfiore
e/o rossore, entrambi risolvibili nel giro di 2-3 giorni. In alcuni casi, il rossore può risultare
prolungato e possono comparire delle piccole croste in prossimità di lentigo molto scure.
Le lentigo possono inizialmente sembrare rialzate e/o più scure con un perimetro arrossato.
Applicare del ghiaccio o un impacco freddo sulle aree trattate per 10-15 minuti ai fini di diminuire la
sensazione di calore.
La lesione apparirà sempre più scura nelle 24-48 ore successive. Potrà diventare marrone scura o
addirittura nera.
La lesione assumerà infine la forma di croste che inizieranno a staccarsi dopo 2-3 giorni. Non
cercare di togliere le eventuali croste per ridurre il rischio di effetti collaterali indesiderati.
Le lesioni pigmentate guariranno solitamente nel giro di 7-10 giorni. Continuerà a sbiadire nelle
2-4 settimane successive.
L’intero ciclo prevede 5-8 trattamenti, con una pausa di 3-4 settimane tra le varie sedute.


Evitare l’esposizione diretta della zona trattata ai raggi solari. Si raccomanda l’utilizzo quotidiano di uno
schermo totale per prevenire nuove lesioni o una nuova iper-pigmentazione.

The small area (3.1Cm2) is highly suggested
Do not treat near the eye area. Always use eye protection
during treatments.
 Wash and dry the area to be treated. The area should be free
of makeup, ointment or any hair prior to treatment.
 Apply Quanta Transparent Gel to treatment area.
 Start spot tests with the lowest setting listed in the
corresponding Test Spot Table and increase to next step,
without overlapping of pulses, after checking for skin reaction. If
there is evidence of darkening, strong pain or deep reddening of
the skin reduce the setting to a lower one, and re-test.
 Do not use pressure on the skin with the handpiece during the
treatment.
 Treatment may be administered at settings, as indicated by
the test spots and below the threshold for adverse skin
reactions.

Post Treatment:
 Mild sunburn-like sensation is expected. This usually lasts 2-24 hours but can
persist up to 72 hours. For better patient’s comfort, cool the skin after
treatment.
 Avoid aggressive scrubbing and use of exfoliants, scrub brushes and loofah
sponges until the treatment area has returned to its pretreatment condition
 Avoid sun exposure to treated areas. Use a sunblock if sun exposure is
unavoidable. Sun avoidance will decrease likelihood of skin color changes
 The lesion will gradually turn darker over the next 24-48 hours
 The lesion will progress to scabs/crusting and will start flaking off in 2-3
days.
 Do not pick, scratch or remove scabs. This will prevent unwanted side
effects.
 Apply cicatrizing cream at the end of the treatment. Do not use
corticosteroids.
 The lesion is usually healed in 7-10 days.
 In average 1-3 sessions every 20 days are necessary.
