LEGAL HIGHS / PSYCHOACTIVE SUBSTANCES Don’t be fooled by the marketing. Just because it says it’s legal on the packet doesn’t make it safe. They can have short and long term health effects. The risks are increased when mixed with other drugs or alcohol. They are often sold as plant food or bath salts as they cannot be sold for human consumption this which has enabled sellers to get around the law. You can’t really be sure what’s in them or what effect they are likely to have on you. We know many have been linked directly to emergency hospital admissions and in some cases, deaths.
