AccordingtotheRussianDefenceMinistry,twocommandcentresoftheterrorists
weredestroyed.

On16June2016,theRussianAerospaceTroopsbombedtheAt-Tanfgarrison,the
remoteoutpostabout10milesfromtheJordanianborder,usedbytheUSandBritish
specialforcesforsecretoperations,TheWallStreetJournalhassaid.
Accordingtoit,USmilitaryandintelligenceofficialssaidthestrikeswere"partofa
campaignbyMoscowtopressuretheObamaadministrationtoagreetocloser
cooperationintheskiesoverSyria".
AspokesmanfortheRussianDefenceMinistry,IgorKonashenkov,saidthatthe
coalitionwastoblameforthefactthatitstroopsinSyriamaybeexposedtorisksinthe

Ministryandthepostalserviceassaying.
Since20July,thecompanyhashadtosubjectallparcelstoincreasedscrutiny,

Governmentallowsuniformedagenciestobuyforeignequipment
TheRussiangovernmenthasgiventhegreenlighttotheInteriorMinistry,the
FederalSecurityService(FSB),theFederalGuardService,theForeignIntelligence
Service,theFederalServiceforTechnicalandExportControl,andtheDepartmentfor
PresidentialAffairstopurchaseforeignequipmenttoprovidesecurityanddefenceof
thecountry.
ThebanonthepurchaseofforeignequipmentwasineffectsinceDecember2013.
Thebandidnotapplyincaseswheresuchgoodswerenotproducedorserviceswere
notprovidedinRussia.
StatecompaniessayimmediateswitchtoRussiansoftwarerisky
State-ownedcompanieshavesaidthattheirITsystemsmaystopworkingiftheyare
orderedtostartusingdomesticallydevelopedsoftwareimmediately.Accordingto
theTASSnewsagency,someofthelargeststate-ownedcompaniessentarespective
lettertoDeputyPrimeMinisterIgorShuvalov.
Earlier,statecompaniesreceivedinstructionsfromShuvalovtoswitchtoRussian
software.
AccordingtotheEconomyMinistry,statebodiesprocuredsoftwareworth93.9bn
roubles(1.5bndollars)in2015,ofwhich77percentwasimportedsoftware.
AlmostmillionRussiansbarredfromtravellingabroadduetodebts
Russianbailiffshaveissued961,000rulingsrestrictingdebtors'traveloutsidethe
countryinthefirsthalfof2016,theFederalBailiffServicehasreported.Thisis
336,000casesmorethaninthesameperiodofthepreviousyear.
Accordingtotheagency,propertyof197,500debtorswasarrestedduringtheperiod,
whiletherewere30,000fewerpropertyarrestsinJanuary-June2015.
4.PARLIAMENTELECTION
Electionbodyexpels42candidatesfromPensionersParty'slist
TheCentralElectionCommission(CEC)hasexcluded42personsfromthecandidate
listoftheRussianPartyofPensionersforJusticecompiledfortheforthcoming
parliamentelection.Inaddition,theCECdeniedregistrationtotheparty'slistof
candidatesinsingle-seatconstituencies.
TheCECexplainedthatitsdecisionwasduetotheabsenceofrequireddocuments.
Homelessallowedtovoteinparliamentelection
RussiancitizenswhohavenopermanentresidenceregistrationintheRussian
Federationwillbeabletovoteintheparliamentelectionsontheterritoryofthe
KazanRailwayStation.TheMoscowcityelectoralcommissionmadethisdecision
followingtheappealfromthehumanrightscommissionerinMoscow,Tatyana

JournalistYevgeniyRevenko,topmanageroftheAll-RussianStateTelevisionand
RadioBroadcastingCompany(VGTRK),willberesponsibleforcreativityinthe
electionHQoftheUnitedRussiaparty,theRBCnewsagencyhasreported.
Thecreativeteamwillproduceproposalsontheparty'sagenda.
Itshouldbenotedthattheparty'sheadquartersareheadedbythesecretaryofthe

Courtrejectsactivist'scomplaintaboutlawsuitsagainsttopprosecutor
TheConstitutionalCourtoftheRussianFederationhassaidthatitwillnotconsider
thecomplaintfromoppositionactivistAlekseyNavalnyyabouttheprovisionsofthe
civilprocedurecodeconcerningrefusaltoacceptclaims.
Earlier,itwasreportedthatNavalnyycomplainedtotheConstitutionalCourtabouta
violationofhisconstitutionalrights.Specifically,theactivistappealedagainstthe
refusalofcourtsofdifferentinstancestoaccepthislawsuitagainstRussian
Prosecutor-GeneralYuriyChaykatodefendthehonouranddignityoftheAntiCorruptionFoundation.
Later,theFederalPenitentiaryServiceaskedtosubstituteNavalnyy'ssuspended
sentenceintheYvesRocherfraudcasewithrealjailterm.

Juryacquits"PrimoryePartisans"inmultiplemurdercase
Thejuryinthecaseconcerningthegroupknownas"PrimoryePartisans"hasfoundits
membersnotguiltyofthemurderoffourPrimoryeresidents.Thecourtorderedto
releasetwomembersofthegroupinthecourtroom.
In2014,thecourtsentencedfourmembersofthegrouptolifeinprisonandthree
othermemberstodifferentprisonterms.Later,theSupremeCourtcancelledthelife
sentencesandsentthecaseforreview.
"PrimoryePartisans"isaninformalnameofthegroupwhosememberswerefound
guiltyofbanditryandseriouscrimesinPrimoryeTerritorycommittedagainstpolice
officersinFebruary-June2010.
CultureMinistryasksprosecutorstocheckRoerichsCentre
TheCultureMinistrywillappealtotheProsecutor-GeneralOfficewiththerequestto
checktheInternationalCentreoftheRoerichs.

FinanceMinistrysettoextendincreasedextractiontax-media
TheFinanceMinistryintendstoextendtheincreasedtaxonextractionofcommercial

ThedocumentalsostatesthattheRussianMinistryofSport"directed,
controlledandoversawthemanipulationofathletes'analyticalresultsand
sampleswapping,withtheactiveparticipationandassistanceoftheFederal
SecurityService".
Inaddition,WADArecommendedthatallRussianathletesbedenied
participationinRio2016Olympics.
Also,theInternationalParalympicCommitteestarteddisciplinaryproceedings
againsttheRussianParalympicCommitteeinconnectionwiththepublicationof
theWADAdopingreport.Thedocumentsaidthat35RussianParalympians
mighthaveusedperformance-enhancingdrugs.
FinanceMinistryreportedlywantstocut2018WorldCupfunding
Thefederalbudgetrequiresadditional15bnroubles(231mdollars)forthe
WorldCuptobeheldinRussiain2018,accordingtotheGazeta.ruwebsite.
Accordingtothewebsite,theFinanceMinistrywilloffertoputthesecostson
the"waitinglist"in2017.

fundingamount,butalsoproposestoincreaseexpendituresonsecurityduring
theWorldCupby1.6bnroubles(24mdollars).
