troll through some of the industrial relics of one of
the most important areas of the Cornish Mining
World Heritage Site. With an optional visit to
Cornwall’s only surviving tin stream works, the route
travels through the remnants of Wheal Kitty before
returning to Driftwood Spars.

ass through the silent remnants of what was once
one of Cornwall's busiest mining areas. In summer
this is a riot of colour, with blazing gorse bushes,
banks of vivid heather, and mineral-stained cliffs bright red
against the blue sea. In places the stony path passes close
to high cliffs. Take the bus back to St Agnes.

A
ll the way to the top of St Agnes Beacon, a prominent
landmark with outstanding views, and then down to
the little cove of Chapel Porth. Follow the Coast Path
around the promontory of St Agnes Head to the beach at
Trevaunance Cove and back to Driftwood Spars.

amble with giants around the colourful St Agnes
scenery, featuring blue seas and purple-and-yellow
heathland, with wide-ranging views over green
pastureland from the top of St Agnes Beacon. There are
short stretches of ascent and descent, but nothing steep or
prolonged.
