Welcome to the inaugural edition of the Pearson Family Ministries newsletter! This newsletter communicates the activities,
upcoming events and plans of the Pearson Family Ministries. In this first issue, we celebrate two milestones: the 25th anniversary
of Master’s Martial Arts Academy and our 400th radio program.
Radio Show
Our radio program, now called Saturdays with Dave & Evelyn, passed its 400th program milestone in February!! We thank the
Lord for the opportunity to minister over the airwaves and internet. Currently on AM 1160 WYLL Chicago’s Christian Talk, we
have been contacted by two networks and three stations interested in having our program in their line-up. Please pray for God’s
leading on a new partnerships with advertisers, sponsors, and donors to expand our radio ministry nationally.
February, we attended the National Religious Broadcasters convention in Nashville, Tennessee. We met people from several
organizations to discuss partnering opportunities and new approaches to our ministry.
Each week this year, we have had a Bible-based radio program broadcast over the air and internet then post to the Dave Pearson
YouTube® channel. February programming was our signature series on LOVE. Continuing our thematic search of Scripture, our
April programs reflect on Jesus’ coming, death, and resurrection!

Inspirational Speaking
These first months of 2014, Pastor Dave has preached at Pacific Garden Mission and Midway Chapel (Skyword Ministries). Karate
Dave led AWANA assembly at Westbrook Christian Church in April. He’s scheduling summer and fall events now. Call today!
Master’s Martial Arts Academy
Master’s Martial Arts Academy is celebrating 25 years of ministry! PTL! The 25th anniversary intramural tournament
was March 22 at the Wheaton Academy Warrior Dome. Over one-hundred students from all ten locations gathered
to compete in four competitions: speed breaking, weapons, kata, and sparring. The tournament began with a miniconcert by Huntley Brown and closed with a charge from Dr. Bill Schroeder: “It’s always right to do right.” Link to our

As homeschool cooperatives take summer break, Master’s Academy is moving to its summer schedule soon. Students on
summer break are welcome to attend any of the summer classes available. Check our website for locations and class times!
During this time when we remember Jesus’ death and glorious resurrection,, we thank the Lord for sending His Son to be the
Savior of the world. May your life be gloriously impacted by His transforming power!
