Subject: Letter of Recommendation for Dave Cox
To Whom it may concern:
I am writing this letter in support of Dave Cox, a great entertainer. I am the co- founder of
the Bindlestiff Family Cirkus, an internationally touring performing arts troupe. For the last
18 years we have toured the United States with our Cirkus shows, which are equal parts
sideshow, vaudeville and (our own take on) new-circus extravaganza. We have a 17 year history of Winter Cabaret seasons on NYC's Off-Off and Off Broadway stages, as well as producing public and private events with circus and variety artists all over North America.
I’ve know Dave’s work as a performer since the early ‘00’s. Unlike many entertainers who
have found a gimmick, and settled into a niche, Dave is never satisfied, and is always looking
for ways to make his show better, funnier, more uniquely his own.
I’ve booked Dave to perform with the Bindlesitff Family Cirkus in festivals like Virgin Mobile
Music Festival, Lincoln Center Out of Doors, Chicago’s Brilliant Corners of Popular
Amusements; and in clubs and theater settings too. He’s definitely a mainstay on our talent
roster.
