wind talker,
water walker
He’s my Dad and I’m His child
Just being with Him and my faith runs wild
It’s amazing
He says go and be a big wind talker
He takes my hand and says “Let’s walk
this water together,
Forever”
Wind Talker, Water Walker
Wind Talker, God lives big in me!
2003
Signs and wonders following me
Cause I’m in Him and they come naturally
We’re a great team together
Looking to heaven and not what I see
Believing His Word and what it’s doing in me
We can do it
Let’s go do it
Wind Talker, Water Walker,

This word is for us this year—it’s
what the Father is saying. Hang on!
You’re in for a wild ride….Hang
on, because next year when you
come back everything’s going to be
different.
…This the day that you have been
have been positioned for and have
believed Me for, where finances
will flow through you for the
Gospel’s sake. And the dreams and
the visions that you’ve had on the
inside of you will manifest this
year. Some of you are just getting
a dream. Don’t give up because it
will grow and grow.
This is an awesome hour; this is a
due season, a kyros moment. This
is a time when My big hand is
going to come out in front of you,
and My big feet are going to walk
in front of you and make big steps
for you to follow. And as you
follow Me I will lead you into
great and mighty exploits….
....I am going to eliminate debt for
you. You won’t be thinking about
yourself anymore; you’ll be
thinking about what God tells you
to do and where you should go.
I’m going to show you where to
invest and how to
invest. Part of this
money will be like a
river coming back to
you so that you’ll
have enough to give
into every good
work.
…I’m going to eliminate lack
in your life. Finances and
anointing work together. You
will experience greater miracles
as these finances are turned
loose because your mind will not
be focused on finances, but
they’ll finally be focused on the
anointing and the moving of
God. Your mind will be thinking
of abundance, and when you
think of abundance it enters over
into the realm of the Spirit. The
Spirit will take you into greater
realms of faith and greater realms
of speaking, and you shall see even
greater things than what you’ve
seen in the years up to now.
And with this comes a new
boldness, not like when somebody
gets blessed in the world and they
become manipulators and
controllers. But you will release
people into their giftings and into
their anointings, into their dreams,
into their visions, into what I have
called you to do. There are many
ministries that are going to be
released because of your faith.

What is Faith Ministries International Network?
We are a relational network of independent churches and
ministries under the spiritual guidance of Dave and Bonnie
Duell and Dennis and Denise Capra. Our message is the
freedom of grace and peace through faith righteousness in
Jesus Christ. We are expanding the Kingdom of God by
establishing local churches and translocal ministries, raising
up spiritual leaders and empowering all believers to walk in
the fullness of their callings and giftings. We connect people
and inspire dreams and vision through conferences, camps,
mission trips, and resources such as newsletters and our
website.
We have grown to over ninety partners, representing
hundreds of churches and ministries in twenty-six countries.
Newsletter Mission Statement
It is our intention to bring the Good News of the Gospel
of Peace with heartfelt stories, images of world changers,
teaching articles and reports to help transform our readers.
We desire to utilize the Newsletter to not only
educate but also to encourage our partners and readers with
the positive message of God’s grace and love.

arseille, a city in the
south of France that
dates back over 2600 years, is one
of the largest Muslim cities in
Western Europe. Today in 2003,
Marseille is the “right place” for
Chris and Terri Wright and their
four children to call home. How
they got to this place is an exciting
story!
Chris and Terri met in the early
80s in the sky working as flight
attendants for the same company.
Terri had recently been born again
and was exuberant about her
newfound faith in Jesus. Chris was
exuberant about his newfound
fortune in meeting a beautiful
woman like Terri! It wasn’t long
though before Chris was also
attracted to the Jesus that lived
inside Terri and he also became
born again. They were married in
Full Faith Church of Love in
chris and
terri wright
and family
Kansas
City where
they became long time friends
with Dennis and Denise Capra
(now FMIN Partners and members
of the FMIN Apostolic Team).
By 1985 Chris and Terri knew they
were called to missions. In the
following years, as they served the
local church in almost every
capacity, participated in many
evangelism events, went to Bible
School, and were even a part of a
group that started a satellite church
from their home church, missions
was in their heart as a constant
focus.
Finally in 1989, Chris and Terri
attended a Mission Discipleship
School in Los Angeles. From
1989 to 1992 they worked in the
inner city of Los Angeles and
started a YWAM (Youth With a
Mission) complex in Tijuana,
Mexico. It was there, in 1992, that
Chris and Terri responded to the
call to France.
By September of that year, they
were on their way to France to
attend ten months of language
school and then on to work in the
YWAM center in St Paul Trois
Chateaux in the south of France.
As the years went by, Chris and
Terri found themselves “in love”
with France and the French
people! As they worked with them,
made friends with them and
nourished those relationships, they
readily adapted into the French
culture.
In the summer of 1998, Chris took
part in organizing and walking in
the “March of
Reconciliation” from
Paris to Marseille, a
five hundred mile
route. The purpose
of the march was to
carry a message of
reconciliation from
Christians to the Jews
and Arabs, a message
of repentance for
generations of
misunderstanding of
who Jesus is and the
errors committed in
His Name, dating
back to the Crusades.
As they completed
the journey and
marched into the city
of Marseille, Chris
had a confirmation in
his heart that this city
was the “right place”
and this was the
“right time” to come
and make this their
home.
They are involved in home groups,
leadership training and youth
ministry with this body
of new believers,
comprised mostly of
Messianic Jews but
also Iraqians,
Algerians, Tunisians,
Americans and
French. They have had
baptisms, salvations
and a marriage where
they baptized the bride
and groom and all the
family of the bride
before the wedding!
They are also
promoting a business
plan for a Skate Park
that will serve as the
perfect setting for
outreach to the French
youth in Marseille.

By September of
1999, Chris and Terri
and their family
moved to Marseille
and began working
with the local churches
and meeting the people.
FMIN took a team into
Marseille that Fall and
touched many with the Gospel
through French tracts, drama and
dance on the pier, in the streets
and parks and nightly meetings.
Today, Chris and Terri pastor a
two-year old church of thirtyseven people called “Les
Branches” that meets in a hotel.
Chris and Terri and
their children, Cody,
Dallas, Gabe and
Cheyenne have a
vision to change the
way the French people
understand God and
His family. Through
being a living example
of God’s grace in their
own family and loving
the people where they
are, the true Gospel of
Peace is being received.
As charter partners with
Faith Ministries International
Network, Chris and Terri exclaim,
“Our affiliation with FMIN has
been such a pleasure and an
anchor for us. The support and
encouragement we get from them
is incalculable!”
FMIN esteems their relationship
with the Wrights as well. Their
faithfulness in traveling to many of
the FMIN Conferences in the US
and Europe, their older boys
traveling to the Youth Camps each
summer, Chris spearheading the
translation of Dave Duell’s books
into French, and their family
hosting FMIN mission teams into
France to share the Gospel of
Peace, has made the concept of
“networking” a reality!

a
s if finished work, I
hurried to gather my things and get
on the road to my parent’s home
before it got too late. My car was
in the shop and a friend had
offered to take me home from
Mesa, Arizona (where I was in my
second year of college) to Gallup,
New Mexico where I had grown
up and my parents pastored a
church called Established in the
Word Ministries.
My friend had invited his brother
to accompany us on the trip but as
we were going down the highway
they soon got into a big argument.
As their anger escalated, I tried to
intervene. Suddenly, my friend’s
brother turned on me and opened
the back car door pushing me out
onto the highway as the car was
moving full speed ahead!
For two and half months I laid in
the hospital in and out of a coma,
with eight doctors and seventyeight nurses attending to me. Since
h2h
I had such serious head
injuries, the doctors gave my
parents no hope for my
recovery. My father didn’t
know what else to do but to
pray and anoint my body from
my head to my feet. Churches
and ministries all over were
also praying and agreeing
with them. Faith Ministries
International Network, of which
my parents were partners, spread
the word to the Network for prayer
in my behalf.
One day, the doctor told my father
that they should let me go and sign
the death certificate because I was
only living one brain cell and my
body was deteriorating.
My father, who was established in
the Word (as the name of his
ministry declared), told the doctor
that he needed to ask His Father
what He had to say. He walked out
and just started repeating over and
over, “Jesus is Lord!”
He asked God, “What do You
have to say about this doctor’s
report?” At that moment my father
heard God speak to him. “You
preached about a man that was
dead for four days and I called him
up and said, ‘Lazarus, come forth!’
and he came. Then you also
preached about a little girl that was
dead in the chamber and I called
her up and she was just asleep. I
was dead for three days and I was
raised from the dead and alive
today. What do you say?”
My father got up and said,
“Charlene will not die, but live and
be made whole and declare the
works of the Lord!”
By the grace of God, I did come
out of that coma and the machines
started coming off one by one. I
went from intensive care to the
recovery unit and from the
recovery unit to the rehabilitation
unit. In the rehabilitation unit, my
parents were informed that I

would be a vegetable. But
my father spoke out that I
be made whole, and I
came walking and
staggering out of that
hospital within two weeks!
That was December 1999.
On March 26, 2003, my
father, Henry Yazzie,
suddenly went home to be
with Jesus through an
accidental death. While he
was here on this earth, he
taught me and many other
people much about faith
in God and how to trust
in His Word. I know
today that he and Jesus are

bringing me to such a place as this for
such a time as this. There have been
three years since I came back to Lewis

as I look forward to my third Faith

serving on
the FMIN
Leadership
Team
Make a careful exploration of who
you are and the work you have
been given, and then sink yourself
into that. Don't be impressed with
yourself. Don't compare yourself
with others. Each of you must take
responsibility for doing the creative
best you can with your own life. Be
very sure now, you who have been
trained to a self-sufficient maturity,
that you enter into a generous
common life with those who have
trained you, sharing all the good
things that you have and
experience. Don't be misled: No
one makes a fool of God. What a
person plants, he will harvest. The
person who plants selfishness,
ignoring the needs of others–
Ignoring God!–harvests a crop of
weeds. All he'll have to show for
his life is weeds! But the one who
plants in response to God, letting
God's Spirit do the
growth work in him, harvests a
crop of real life, eternal life. So
let's not allow ourselves to get
fatigued doing good. At the right
time we will harvest a good crop if
we don't give up, or quit. Right
now, therefore, every time we get
the chance, let us work for the
benefit of all, starting with the
people closest to us in the
community of faith.
The principle of sowing and
reaping is absolute. It streams
throughout the Bible from Genesis
to Revelation. God has set into
motion, by His own Word, the way
the universe rotates. It wouldn’t
change the absoluteness of it–even
if you don’t believe this passage of
scripture as true. It is a fixed law
that works whether we believe it or
not. You benefit as you agree with
it and sow to the Spirit and reap a
quality of life which is abundant
and everlasting. If you disagree
with it, you reap the negative
harvest of corruption. My
suggestion is to comply with it.
Sowing and reaping is God’s law
of investment. The way for you to
grow in truth in your personal life
is to invest in yourself in specific
areas. It is a simple, basic concept.
Jesus always used something in
nature to describe something
“You benefit
as you agree
with it and
sow to the
Spirit and
reap a quality
of life which is
abundant and
everlasting.”
spiritual. We often do it just the
opposite. We speak in lofty
spiritual terms–but we don’t get it.
In our own lives as we have given
up fears and stepped out in faith
by just trusting God and taking
Him at His Word, Dennis and I
have seen and experienced
profound goodness. This has been
in the area of health and healing,
jobs and finances, raising children,
relationships with friends and
relatives, emotional healing and
well being, marriage, and outreach
ministry. It absolutely covers
everything in our lives. We are
living testimonies to the mercy,
grace and power of God to restore
us.
The New Living Translation says,
"The truth is, a kernel of wheat
must be planted in the soil. Unless
it dies it will be alone–a single
seed. But its death will produce
many new kernels–a plentiful
harvest of new lives" (John 12:24).
We must be willing to give up
control. According to this verse, in
order for anything to multiply, we
must plant it or it will only go as
far as we can take it on our own.
So, when we plant a seed we are
"investing" it. We allow the
supernatural process to take over.
It is a simple process. We are often
SO AFRAID that we bind
situations up by not releasing them
into God's care. There isn't one
area that we can have God
working in if we keep control of
it. It is this little kernel of control
(not corn) we have kept, thinking
that it won't equal something else
that we need or desire, so we
hinder our own provision by not
being a good receiver.
What we so often do is eat our
seed! You cannot divide up your
little kernel of corn to make your
life work! In the law of sowing
and reaping, you can only reap
what you are willing to sow. If you
are crying out to God for things,
He is reminding you that He
already has given you what you
need. He says, “I already have!”
Your response may be, “But I am
in lack, in need and am hurting.”
You facilitate the capacity for
something to happen by expressing
trust through an action. God
doesn’t give it permission to grow.
These laws are fixed and absolute.
How is it then, if God has given it
to you that you aren’t experiencing
it? This is where you must sow
where you want to reap. The soil is
your heart; the seed of His
promises go into it. Then growth
emerges, and you water the seed
through prayer and praise. Do you
have an expectation to receive
what you asked for?
As Paul advises on giving in II
Corinthians 8:7, “Since you excel
in so many ways–you have so
much faith, such gifted speakers,
such knowledge, such enthusiasm,
and such love for us–now I want
you to excel also in this gracious
ministry of giving” (New Living
Translation).
You can take two perspectives
when seeing an open field. How
would you see it? Generous people
see situations as an opportunity.
Greedy, fearful people see them as
a threat. Paul’s heart expresses the
wisest way for you to apply the
spiritual truths that affect
everything else in your life.
Now, you have God’s generous
nature. As your mind is renewed in
Christ, you’ll walk in progressive
freedom. You’ll experience waves
of joy because of such good news.
Your laughter precedes your full
restoration and prosperity. It’s a
sign. Can you even believe the
vision that you see? Look what
God is doing! You’ve wondered
about the phenomenon of
spontaneous laughter. We, as the
body of Christ, have only done
what our God has been
doing...laughing. He is laughing at
His own purposes being fulfilled.
He is laughing at the enemy’s futile
attempts to hinder God’s plans.
He’s laughing during the joy of the
harvest.
Meditate on Psalm 126, “When the
Lord brought back the captives
[who returned] to Zion, we were
like those who dream [it seemed so
unreal]. Then our mouths filled
with laughter, and our tongues
with singing... They who sow in

As you have believed in God’s promises and proclaimed them in
hard times, you can rest assured that you will keep on celebrating
with the miracles of harvest in your hand. This passage gives a
glimpse of a flood of God’s answers. The Church has sown the

be rewarded openly, so much so, that people around us will declare
it. The nations will be astounded. God has the last laugh.

networking
have recently been sick
and had to spend time apart. I
wondered how it would be not
doing things for those around me
but just being in need of their love
and support. I was so blessed and
comforted by the friends and
relations I have. Spending time
doing more listening and enjoying
the loving input was just great. As
days turned into weeks, my
support grew, and I was
strengthened by the love I found in
my friends and family. The
scriptures reveal to us to treat
others as you would have them to
treat you. So many of my friends
were truthful and approachable
and were willing to give me what
they could in their honest concern.
When I was a child I wanted to be
a good friend to people but I had
no concept of this because I grew
up believing I was not likeable. I
found it hard to say what I really
wanted to say because I was
surrounded by strong males who
believed to show pity or genuine
concern was wimpish and weak.
Therefore, I believed you had to be
a soldier standing alone and battle
ready, no matter what. “Where did
the good Samaritan come into
things?” I wondered.
The older I got, the tougher I felt I
had to be. My childhood in

means to me
Scotland backed up this mind-set
as we had severe cold weather, and
come what may, sick or well, I was
told to deny my flesh any comfort
and get on with life. Some other
sinister thoughts came to me
saying that God helps those who
help themselves and not others.
Added to this, I felt I had to stick
up for myself, which caused me to
bully others and carve a way for
myself no matter what. I felt cold
and hard on the inside and denied
of love. How could I befriend
anyone? They might add to this
pain which I felt inside.
In church one day when I was
around ten years old, I heard that
old song, “What a Friend We Have
in Jesus,” and I wanted Him as my
friend. I asked Him sometime later
what this friendship was like. He
turned me to the scriptures which
say “A friend loves at all times.” In
the Message Bible it reads,
“Friends love through all kinds of
weather and families stick together
in all kinds of trouble.” Jesus has
stuck to us through all weather and
troubles. His example is our
guideline.
Now many years later, He has
melted my heart and comforted me
with His love. I love my friends
and want to be with them so much.

spend time with them. Recently I
was asked, “Why are you in this

time. It is not for the opportunity
to minister; it is not for worldwide
travel. It is for relationship, for
true friends and closeness to those
whom I can lay down my life.

Wayne and Susan Buller, FMIN
Partners in Greeley, Colorado,
USA, continue their creative
outreaches to their area. They have
been showing Animated Videos of
the Old Testament Heroes of
Faith and discussing the films and
giving some teaching on the types
of Christ that these Heroes
represent to families in their city.
This summer they planned June,
July and August as "Reachout
Ministries Days of Harvest." This
included several cookouts and
music concerts in the Greeley area.
Since new people move in and out
because of the migrant work
situation, the harvest field of souls
has been plentiful and ripe!
In May, Dave and Bonnie Duell
(and several of the women from
the Network attending the
European Women’s Conferences)
held an open meeting at a local
hotel in Dublin, Ireland, hosted
by FMIN Partners, Paddy and
Pauline Keegan. At this night
meeting, Dave prayed with a young
lady (who is a singer) who had
suffered a stroke and lost her
voice. She called the Keegans the
following Sunday night and sang a
song on the phone. PRAISE
GOD!

remotely like it.
Jill Scheck, FMIN Partners in
Hayes, Kansas, USA: "We just
opened our cafe here at the
ministry next to our new Java Brew
Coffee Bar. We are calling it the
‘Jill E Pepper Caf ’."
Don and Wendy Francisco,
FMIN Partners in Cedaredge,
Colorado, USA, report on their
recent mission trip with FMIN
Partners, Ed
and Mie
Meyer. "We

situation for $200 a kid. Much of
that money went into buying food
for the various places we went.
Annie (Don and Wendy’s daughter)
prepared her team beforehand with
dramas and skits and puppet
shows, and they did their service as
much as four times in a day. They
worked hard. We saw four
orphanages, two churches, two
rescue missions and a garbage
dump where people live in houses
made of cardboard. It was so
wonderful for the kids to watch
people come to Jesus through their
efforts. None of those kids except
It was very humbling to be there...a
privilege. Our kids brought the
orphans toys...but those kids gave
precious possessions back to our
kids in return. Our hearts were
stolen."
Josue and Mary Anaya, FMIN
Partners, Omaha, Nebraska,
USA, are overflowing with
gratitude for all who participated
in their Love Your Neighbor Rally
on May 30. They believe that good
contacts were established in their
neighborhood. Continuing their
intensive outreach to the Hispanic
population,
what in the
world is
happening?
they now have a nice, large
laminated building plan for their
second building where they also
want to open a soup kitchen as
well as place the food and clothing
pantry.
Josue and Mary send the Network
this invitation: "We invite you to
come and see how much has been
accomplished and participate in
getting the building completed. We
are very crowded in our current
facility and eagerly looking
forward to when we will be able to
move."
Congratulations are in order as
Josue and Mary welcomed their
eighth child on July 11, Rosa Ariel!
When presented to the kids, they
spontaneously responded, "Thank
You, Jesus!"
Karen Urbank, FMIN Partner
now living in Dallas, Texas,
USA, formerly living in
Novosibirsk, Siberia, reports that
her time in the States has been
fruitful. She has not only served
on a cross-denominational team to
plan a citywide Day of Prayer for
the Dallas-Ft Worth area, but is
also co-laboring with Tommy and
Kim Morgan, FMIN Partners,
Dallas, Texas, USA, in Potters
Wheel. They have many exciting
dreams and plans in the making.
Deborah and Harvey’s youngest
daughter, Katie, was recently
married to Joe, in a beautiful
ceremony officiated by Dave
Duell.
Jay and Meridel Rawlings,
FMIN Partners in Israel, wrote
of their recent trip to the US and
Canada where Meridel was
reunited with some of her family
and friends in Alberta, some
whom she had not seen for over
thirty years. While in Canada, the
Vista’s Canadian Board honored
the Rawlings for their thirty-four
years of service to Israel in a gala
evening held at the Princess Mary
in Victoria. They described how
they felt: "Éit felt rather like a
wedding, for the joy simply flowed
over us all." They were also
recipients of funds donated for the
purchase of new equipment.
FMIN Partners, Bill and Heidi
Waltenbaugh and Ernie and
Velina Durbin, Headwaters
Contemporary Christian
Community in Hamilton, Ohio,
USA, were recently featured in
their local paper as one of the
"storefront" churches of the area
that plan to spread the Word of
God in non-traditional settings.
The news article quoted Ernie as
saying, "For the longest time we
have set up our churches like really
neat clubhouses—when you have
something without the symbols,
you create an environment that is
more comfortable. I’m not saying
church property is a bad thing. But
we are aiming at people who don’t
know Jesus Christ and are not used
to getting up early and going to
Sunday service." The Durbins and
Waltenbaughs are in the midst of
an expansive remodeling project in
a downtown storefront property in
Hamilton where they plan to put
their roots down and make
disciples for Jesus.
Dave and Cindy Hinton, Osage,
Oklahoma, USA, are teaching
children the ABCs of the Lord in
public schools! God has opened
doors for Dave to share his ABC
song in many places. After
ministering in one school recently
in Decatur, Illinois, the Hintons
received over fifty letters thanking
them and requesting CDs and
tapes.
Harvey and Deborah Wittmier,
Denver, Colorado, USA, are
continuing taking the Gospel of
Peace to the world. Deborah
returned from a month-long
ministry trip to Kenya, Scotland,
Ireland and England in May. One
highlight they sent in was from
Kenya: "Éin Nyaharuru were many
salvations, people filled with the
Holy Spirit and contributions to
the Nyaharuru Orphanage."
Deborah was able to take
children’s worship tapes and a
"boom box" to play them on.
Ed and Mie Meyer, Denver,
Colorado, USA, report that God
is giving them land in Juarez,
Mexico, for the purpose of
building a new orphanage, a
church, and a community center
for the Tarahumara Indians (a
passive tribal people who still live
a "stone-age" lifestyle and are
considered outcasts in their
country). Currently, the Mexican
government has listed five hundred
Tarahumara orphans from the
Chihuahua area as in "need of
shelter." Deep Grace Ministries is
taking steps to build a building for
as many orphans as possible.
Robert and Sandi Brancio,
Appointed Time Ministries,
Denver, Colorado, USA, took a
team to China and Vietnam where
they saw signs, wonders and
miracles! Hundreds were born
again, the blind received their
sight, many healings took place,
and formerly unreached people
were reached. The team was able
to bring in many Bibles and Jesus
Videos. A church was planted in
one village.
Dennis and Denise Capra,
Kansas City, Missouri, USA,
experienced incredible results at an
outreach for youth at their church.

Outreach” on page 19 for an

GX International
Youth Outreach
o
n a Friday night in May nearly
800 people filled the auditorium
of Grandview High School, just a
short distance from Faith
Ministries World Outreach Center,
pastored by Dennis and Denise
Capra. They came as a result of a
poster and ticket blitz to publicize
GX International. The local Youth
With A Mission group did
assemblies at the middle school
and high school during the day,
and invited the students to come
back that evening for a full
performance.
All this was used as a tool to
present the gospel in their
‘language.’ The crowd was on the
edge of their seats, there was a
connection. Fast paced video clips
illustrated the issues teens face,
especially those big questions like,
“Why am I here?” Various team
members then shared their
personal testimonies of how the
Lord had healed and delivered
them from destructive lifestyles,
how He had changed their lives
and given them a destiny.
At the end of the performance, an
amazing thing happened. When a
salvation altar call was given, most
of the crowd rushed to the stage.
We stood in awe, shocked and
unprepared for such a huge
response. The youth evangelist
requalified the call, saying, “Wait,
this is only if you want to receive
Jesus tonight!” Yet they continued
to stream down to the front.
Amidst the awesome chaos,
hundreds of young people gave
their lives to Jesus.
They returned that night to see
skateboarders, rollerbladers and
BMX bikers flying up and down
ramps and through the air. An
intense lightshow was the
backdrop for hip-hop and
breakdancers.
