US$10.00 6th ANNUAL STEVIE AWARDS FOR WOMEN IN BUSINESS ® Awards Dinner and Ceremonies Friday, November 13, 2009 Marriott Marquis Hotel New York, New York 2009 SPONSORS 2009 LOCALIZATION PARTNER http://www.key.com/women DEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE F Welcome to the 6th annual Stevie ® Awards for Women in Business. This year’s Stevie Awards for Women in Business attracted more than 1,100 entries, just a handful fewer than last year’s record total — quite an achievement, I think, given current economic conditions. Nevertheless, this year it was tougher than ever to be recognized as a Finalist or Stevie Award winner, and I congratulate you for your accomplishments this past year. Preliminary judging was conducted in September and October by business professionals around the world. Their averages scores determined the Finalists. Members of the competition’s Board of Distinguished Judges & Advisors performed final judging October 19 – 28 to select Stevie Award winners from among the Finalists. All judges are acknowledged in this program. We organize three other business competitions in addition to the Stevies for Women. You can learn all about our programs at www.stevieawards.com. Thank you for participating in The 2009 Stevie Awards for Women in Business, and for joining us this evening. Best wishes for continued success! Cordially, Michael Gallagher President The Stevie Awards PROGRAM CONTENTS Presenter Biographies 3 Board of Distinguished Judges & Advisors 5 Preliminary Judges 7 List of Finalists 9 1 DEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE F MISTRESS OF CEREMONIES Cheryl Casone Cheryl Casone joined FOX Business Network (FBN) in September 2007 as an anchor. Prior to FBN, Casone served as a correspondent for FOX News Channel’s (FNC) business unit and was a regular guest on FNC’s Your World with Neil Cavuto as well as Cashin’ In, where she appeared initially as a contributor when it debuted in May 2001. Casone brings years of experience covering finance, business, and consumer news to FBN. She has reported on the economic impact of war on the economy, consumer fraud, global markets, foreign investment, and corporate governance in addition to her work covering the U.S. markets. Prior to FNC she worked as a freelance business correspondent for CNN primarily reporting from the New York Stock Exchange, and CBS Newspath as a general assignment reporter. Casone moved to New York to work as an overnight and early morning news anchor for MSNBC and NBC. Prior to that she anchored a business show for San Francisco’s KRON-TV, and served as a business and general assignment reporter. She began her career at CNX Media on the nationally syndicated program Travel Update. Casone has served on the boards of the Associated Press Television and Radio Association, California and Nevada Regional Chapter, and American Women in Radio and Television, San Francisco Chapter. A native of Dallas, TX, she graduated from Northern Arizona University.
