O Sacrament Divine” . . .
Dear Radio Maria Family:
Those words ring out each morning here at our Alexandria
studio chapel as we pray in Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament
exposed on our altar. On that same altar, there is a book containing all the prayer intentions requested by our listeners and
representing those you hold in your hearts. It is a beautiful
reminder each day that we are ONE in the Communion of the
Lord’s Mystical Body and that our prayers of petition and
adoration mingle here each day as we ask the Lord’s blessing
upon you and all your loved ones.
We celebrate that great mystery this month as we honor the
Most Precious Body and Blood of Our Savior on June 2 and
the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus on June 7. The Family Spirit of
Radio Maria is rooted in this great mystery of God’s Love for
us which comes to us through the Immaculate Heart of Mary
(celebrated on June 8).
We experienced that Spirit so profoundly with the recent visit
of our National President, Carlo DiMaggio. Fresh from his
recent visit to Medjugorje, he shared with us the many blessings he received from the Queen of Peace. We thank God for
giving us a man of faith like Carlo to keep us faithful to the
charism of Our Lady’s Radio by his humble service out of
love for God and His Holy Mother. May God reward you!

May 2, 2013 Message to Mirjana
“Dear children! Anew, I am calling you to love and not to judge. My
Son, according to the will of the Heavenly Father, was among you
to show you the way of salvation, to save you and not to judge you.
If you desire to follow my Son, you will not judge but love like your
Heavenly Father loves you. And when it is the most difficult for you,
when you are falling under the weight of the cross do not despair,
do not judge, instead remember that you are loved and praise the
Heavenly Father because of His love. My children, do not deviate
from the way on which I am leading you. Do not recklessly walk into
perdition. May prayer and fasting strengthen you so that you can live
as the Heavenly Father would desire; that you may be my apostles
of faith and love; that your life may bless those whom you meet; that
you may be one with the Heavenly Father and my Son. My children,
that is the only truth, the truth that leads to your conversion, and then
to the conversion of all those whom you meet – those who have not
come to know my Son – all those who do not know what it means
to love. My children, my Son gave you a gift of the shepherds. Take
good care of them. Pray for them. Thank you.”

“Dear children! Today I call you to be strong and
resolute in faith and prayer, until your prayers are
so strong so as to open the Heart of my beloved
Son Jesus. Pray little children, pray without ceasing until your heart opens to God’s love. I am with
you and I intercede for all of you and I pray for
your conversion. Thank you for having responded
to my call. ”

On behalf of the World Family of Radio Maria, we want to thank
all of you who donated to our first World-Wide Mariathon. We
received more than $3,000 towards the growth of Radio Maria in
11 new countries. The world-wide total was $1.1 million!

Mirjana embraces new Radio Maria president after Apparition
Greetings & Blessings
to all Radio Maria Family,
As summer approaches and we all
take our deserved vacations, we remind
you that Radio Maria will continue to
work with its regular expenses. It is not
unusual that during the summer months
donations tend to decrease, and for this
reason, we have thought of a sweepstake
for you to keep us in mind. By continuing
with your commitment and donation to
Radio Maria and entering in our Sweepstake, you will also have the possibility of
winning an extraordinary trip to the Holy
Land or Medjugorje.
Speaking of Medjugorje, I had the
privilege and fortune to be there during
Mirjana’s apparition on May 2, 2013. I
would like to share with you the extraordinary experience I had:
On May 1, Mirjana gave her testimony to the Italian pilgrims where I was in
attendance, about 60 feet away from the
balcony where she was speaking.
This was not the first time I saw her
speak, but never this close. During her
testimony, she spoke about a private audience with our beloved Pope John Paul
II, where she stated that Pope John Paul
II told her that if he was not a Pope, he
would have gone to Medjugorje.
Mirjana also testified that after his
death, someone from the Vatican came
to Medjugorje to bring a pair of Pope
John Paul II’s shoes. I felt very emotional
hearing this testimony. Mirjana must have
made the same testimony over a hundred
times, but to me it felt as though she was

Radio Maria president Carlo Maggio was fortunate enough to be standing behind her during
the Apparition. Afterwards, she reached out to
Maggio and kissed him as though she was saying “thank you.”
telling it for the first time; so beautiful
was her smile and so serene was her voice.
After her testimony, I managed to
give one of her assistants a copy of our
April Newsletter, where her messages appear on the front page. The next day a
good friend of mine arranged for me to
be close to Mirjana at the time of the
apparition. Somehow, to my surprise, I
found myself right behind Mirjana as she
was facing the Blue Cross. She had joined
the pilgrims praying the rosary and at one
point she lifted her head and we all knew
that the Apparition was beginning.
As soon as the Apparition was over,
she dictated the message to two of her
assistants. She sat on the floor facing me
with uncontrollable tears. After she recomposed herself and the message had
been read in Italian and English, I had
the opportunity to kiss her hand and say
‘thank you’ to her.
She then reached out to me and
kissed me on both sides of my cheeks, as
though we were old friends. I was overwhelmed with the feeling that she was saying “thank you, thank you.”
Naturally, I was ecstatic and could not
believe that it was actually happening, but
since then I have kept this precious moment in my heart to treasure forever. If
Mirjana did say ‘thank you’ to me, I know
she was thanking me for my commitment
to Radio Maria, and therefore, she was
thanking all of the volunteers, supporters
and listeners of Radio Maria. Sometimes I
think that our Blessed Mother was saying
“thank you” through Mirjana, and for this
I will always be grateful to Mirjana and
forever treasure this moment.
I have been to Medjugorje more than
15 times, but have never experienced such
grace and peace. I thought I would share
my experience with all of you. May God
continue to bless you all, and may our
Mother Queen of Peace be with you always.
