Dear QA Friends,
Welcome Fall! We’ve scheduled a lot of great projects for
you. Get started on your Christmas gifts or just take some
classes to continue your quilting education. We just
designed a brand new “Easy Breezy” Rag Quilt. This quilt
is perfect for absolute beginners and also makes a very
quick gift. If you bring a “new to QA” friend, you can join
the class for 1/2 price! Check it out on page 2 and then tell
your friends!

Our “Just for YOU” classes are continuing. Gather at
least 3 friends and we will schedule a class around your

will be vending at the quilt show at the Pine Bush High

success. This service helps you get your quilts finished.
Please call the shop to schedule an appointment. Pick up a
quilting information sheet at the shop or call to have it
emailed so you will be prepared.

Absolute Beginners
Easy Breezy Rag Quilt
This quilt is for the ABSOLUTE
BEGINNER. Learn to use a rotary cutter
and piece on a sewing machine. Have a
cuddly throw when you are done. This is
a great quilt for those that have NEVER
sewn before or for someone who wants to
make a really quick gift. Class Fee: $48

These projects are designed so all sewing is done in class.

Rag Quilt
A great place to perfect your rotary cutting and machine sewing
skills. Have fun playing with decorative stitches and quilting in the
hoop. Join us for our shop’s most popular quilt!
Two by Two
The perfect class to learn traditional quilt making techniques. Hone
your rotary cutting skills, learn to sew an accurate 1/4” seam
allowance, strip quilting techniques & matching intersections.
“Quick turn & tie” finish. Pre-requisite: Above rag quilt class or
rotary cutting & sewing machine experience.

Hone your skills while learning to strip
piece, sub-cut and construct rows to
create these quilts. Learn the proper
way to attach borders. Finish the quilt
using the “Quick turn and tie” finish
you learned in Two by Two.
Basting & in-the-ditch quilting will be
demo-ed in your last class for those
that want to try something new.
If you want to stitch-in-the-ditch and
bind, you will want to sign up for a

Time for some multi-tasking! This design set allows you to
create a cheery, elegant, festive… whatever-styles-you choose
reversible table topper to complement the occasion and your
decor! Embroider each piece and attach the previous piece in
the hoop until the entire outer ring is complete.
