ALL AMERICAN HORSE CLASSIC
PLEASE NOTE: 2014 STALL POLICY
Due to high demand for stabling and cost increases in rental stall and overhead,
no stabling will be reserved for any exhibitor at the AAHC unless accompanied by a
check for the full amount of all stalls requested. Management will contract for rental
stalls and buildings based on stall counts received by close of entries. Stall requests
received as post entries will be handled on a first come-first served basis. Should stalling sell out, late entries will be put on a waiting list and will receive stall assignments
subject to cancellations. Participation in the All American Cup, Futurities and/or
ASR Sweepstakes will NOT guarantee an exhibitor stalls. To ensure adequate stabling please send stall reservations and check with entries by closing date—stalls not
paid in full will not be reserved.
CANCELLATION - REFUNDS
Exhibitors canceling entries in writing prior to the closing date (August 1) shall be
entitled to have all fees (except office fee) returned. Any request to cancel entries after
the closing date and prior to August 28 will result in 50% of entry fees (except office fee)
being refunded provided a comprehensive veterinary certificate stating the injury/illness
of a particular entry is furnished to the show secretary along with a written request for a
refund. Telephone cancellations and requests not accompanied by veterinarian certificate
will not receive refunds. No refunds will be made for any cancellations not received in
writing by the show secretary by August 28, 2014. No stall refunds will be made for any
reason after closing date. No refunds will be made for amounts less than $50.00. Refunds
will be mailed no sooner than six weeks after conclusion of show.
The All American Classic reserves the right to cancel any class in which there are fewer
than three entries. It further reserves the right to refuse any money paid for stall or entry
fees, without being liable to claim for compensation. The AAHC may combine any classes
in the best interest of the show and/or change the time of showing of any class in accordance with US Equestrian rules. Exhibitors will be informed.
CHECKS
Any check returned for insufficient funds will be charged a service fee of $50.00. If
payment is not received via certified funds or cashiers check to cover the amount of the
returned check and service fee, it will be turned over to the APPROPRIATE AUTHORITIES. Failure to make restitution will prevent that exhibitor from making future entries at
the All American Horse Classic until full settlement is made. No personal checks will be
cashed during the show.

ALL AMERICAN CUP – 2014 WEANLING DIVISION
Open to eligible registered American Saddlebred weanlings. Weanlings must be out of
mares declared through stallion services purchased at the 2013 All American Cup Auction
or mares declared by 2013 stallion service donors. Nominators/owners must have complied
with all rules and conditions established by the All American Cup to be eligible to compete,
including nomination to the ASB Futurity of Indiana Open division.
Entering:
All weanling entries must be registered with ASHA or CASH no later than August
15, 2014.
Every weanling showing in the All American Weanling Cup must pay a %50 declaration
fee to the horse show secretary no later than 12:01 pm, Monday September 1, 2014. Please
expedite by sending the declaration fee with entries. A public drawing for order of go will
be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, September 2. In the event a handler, trainer or owner draws
two or more entries prohibitively close together within a section, that individual may exchange with another trainer/handler/owner within the same section. Both parties must sign
a written exchange agreement which must be in the horse show office by 4:00 Tuesday.
September 2. No trades or exchanges will be accepted after that time. Final order of go will
be posted at the Show Office by 5:00 pm Tuesday, September 2.
How Shown:
Appointments will be per USEF SB173. Two attendants per entry will be allowed. Handlers and trailers are required to wear formal attire. Please refer to USEF SB 174 regarding
whips and bags.
Each weanling will enter the ring individually at a trot and shall be shown at the handler’s
discretion, in the manner that allows that entry to look its best. After showing at the trot,
the entry will be presented to the judges for conformation judging. After the judges have
23
ALL AMERICAN HORSE CLASSIC
evaluated the weanling, the entry will exit the ring. After all sections have been shown, the
judges will select 18 weanlings to return for final judging. Entries will again enter the ring
one at a time, as per above, except that entries shall not exit the ring but remain in the arena
for final placement. After the class is completely tied, entries may or may not be excused
from the ring before the awards presentation. Immediately following the presentation of
awards, handlers will be directed to take the top 18 finalists to the West Pavilion staging
area for drug and DNA testing.
How Judged:
The judges will tie 16 places plus 2 alternates. A modified MOS Judging System will be
used. Entries will be judged 50% on conformation and finish, 50% on way of going and
natural action.
Prize Money:
The total purse available for the All American Cup Weanling division will be in excess
of $91,500. Prize money will be mailed to winners after results of drug and DNA testing
are received.
1. All American Cup – Weanlings $50.00 Declaration Fee due by 12:01 pm Monday,
September 1, 2014.
ALL AMERICAN CUP – 2014 THREE YEAR OLD UNDER SADDLE
This class will operate under USEF rules as a recognized but unrated class per USEF
GR902.2. Since this is a special non-rated class, entries may cross enter into other classes in the show provided they meet the appropriate class requirements. Entering: Open to
eligible registered American Saddlebred stallions, mares or geldings. Entries must be the
offspring of mares declared through stallion services purchased at the 2010 All American
Cup Auction or mares declared by 2010 stallion service donors. Nominators/owners must
have complied with all rules and conditions established by the All American Cup to be
eligible to compete, including keeping entries eligible to the ASB Futurity of Indiana Open
division in their weanling, yearling and 2 year old years.
Every three year old showing in the All American Cup must pay a $50 declaration
fee to the horse show secretary no later than 12:01pm, Tuesday, September 2, 2014.
Please expedite by sending in the declaration fee with entries. IMPORTANT: Any entry
previously declared that will not be showing must be scratched by 12:01 pm, Tuesday,
September 2. After declarations have been received by the secretary on September 2, if
entries warrant, a single championship class will be held in the 6:30 Wednesday evening,
September 3 show session. If an excess of entries are received, the competition will be
divided into Phase I elimination splits and a Phase II Championship. If required, splits
will compete Wednesday evening, September 3, with the Phase II Championship final held
Friday, September 5.
How Shown:
Entries may be shown with set or unset tails, with or without trimmed manes and roached
tails. Equipment and attire shall be as outlined in USEF SB131. Entries shall be shown at
the walk, trot and canter both ways of the ring. All entries will be stripped for judging in
the Championship Final if this competition is held s a single class. If qualifying splits are
necessary, horses will be stripped in Phase I and may also be stripped in the Championship
at the discretion of the Show Committee. Procedures for stripping will be conducted in accordance with USEF SB105. Only two attendants per horse allowed in the ring. All personnel entering the arena to strip horses must be dressed appropriately: jeans, tee shirts, shorts
and tank tops are not considered suitable attire in any phase of this competition. Gentlemen
24

attendants are requested to wear dark trousers with solid color long sleeved shirts and ties.
All horses in Phase 1 and/or Phase II will be subject to drug and DNA testing.

places plus 2 reserves in the Championship/Phase II. Horses to be judged on performance,
presence, quality, manners and conformation. A modified MOS System will be used.
Eliminations/Phase I (if needed): Judges will choose selected entries from each section
of Phase I for the Phase II Championship Final. Judges will not be required to select a specific number of finalists from each section. A total of 18 horses from Phase I will return for
final judging of the All American Cup Three Year Old Under Saddle Championship, Friday
night, September 5. Entries selected for the Final will be posted at the Show Office by 9:00
