Rice Root Brushes
Made with the finest rice root on the market and blended with synthetic bristles for
durability, these long-lasting brushes are a
must-have in showboxes! Rice root brushes
are great for regular use on hogs to promote healthy skin and also work well for
grooming and training hair on cattle. The
bristles on the regular 6" brush are trimmed
to a slight peak in the center to allow for
additional wrist action while grooming.
With a narrower design and evenly trimmed
bristles, the small brush is great for carrying
in pockets. Both styles feature wood handles
with finger grooves for comfort and grip.

Creator of the Burr Out:
“I came up with the idea for the Burr Out while I was hooking up my horses one day. They had burrs
throughout their mane and tail that needed removed. I bent the teeth of the first comb I used in my
attempt to remove the burrs. The teeth broke on the next comb I tried. As a result, I went to my shop
and drilled two sets of staggered holes in a small piece of metal, welded some roofing nails to the metal,
ground the tops of the nails off and constructed a handle for my new comb. As I began to use the comb,
I realized that it was the best comb I ever used. It separated the hair as I pulled down, removing the
burrs with ease. I made some for a few of my friends and they felt the same way.”
