The Show Directors accept no liability for accidents to spectators, competitors, animals or their property in connection with or arising from this show. Admission is granted and entries accepted only on recognition of this condition. The NWID & Hunter Show accepts no responsibility for any injury arising from any failure to comply with the Show Rules. 3. The Show Directors reserve the right to rearrange times, refuse entries or split/amalgamate or cancel any class. They also reserve the sole right to interpret regulations and conditions, and to finally settle and determine all or any matter, question or difference arising from Show rules. 4. HARD HATS &FOOTWEAR - RIDERS, it is your sole responsibility to ensure that whilst mounted, a correctly fitted and secured riding hat or skull cap to the current approved BSI and European standards is worn - appropriate footwear must always be worn when mounted. - HANDLERS & GROOMS are advised to wear a properly secured hard hat or skull cap to current approved BSI and European standard while leading or working with any horse in and out of the rings. 5. All riders are advised that jewellery should not be worn whilst on horseback. 6. For safety reasons, horses are not allowed in spectator areas. 7. All ridden exhibits must be 4 years or over. 8. TACK - Ridden classes 1-6 any bit and bridle allowed, but no martingale or boots. - Ridden classes 18 and 19 any bit, bridle and martingale allowed, boots for jumping phase only. - No tack that conceals an animal’s conformation or identifies an animal or owner will be allowed. 9. It is the responsibility of all horse owners to ensure that their animals are fully vaccinated against equine flu. 10. DOGS must be kept on a lead at all times. No dogs allowed on the main showground, only allowed in the parking areas. 11. Please respect the owners of Church Farm showground by refraining from hanging haynets outside your vehicles, and by removing all droppings left by your animals outside your vehicles. All breeding and in hand exhibits must be: already Graded*on the Irish Draught Breed Register or eligible for Class 1 on the Irish Draught Breed Register or registered on the Grade 1 or Grade 2 Irish Draught Sport Horse Registers Registration numbers must be stated on the entry form and entries will be sent to the IDHS (GB) prior to the show to confirm eligibility. NOTE: All competing STALLIONS must be inspected or overstamped by the IDHS (GB) and classified as RID (GB), ID Class 1 or ID Class 2 OR Grade 1 or Grade 2 Irish Draught Sport Horse AND must display a red, white and blue ribbon in their tails. All ridden horses must be 152cm (15hh) or over. In the interest of safety, all 1, 2 and 3 year old COLTS must be bitted and shown by an experienced handler of 18 years of age or over. In the interest of safety, all riders of STALLIONS must be 18 years of age or over. *A GRADED mare or filly is one which has been inspected or overstamped by the IDHS (GB) and passed into one of the following categories: ID Class 1, ID Class 2, RID, AID or the Supplementary Grade Up Register. * Hornby Premium Inspections: These must be booked in advance of the show day. Blue Chip & IDHS (GB) £2000 Challenge Qualifiers (Classes 1, 2, 5 & 6) The highest placed horse (not already qualified) from each of the above classes....... will qualify for the Final of the Blue Chip & IDHS (GB) £2,000 Challenge which will be held at the IDHS (GB) Annual Breed Show on 12th - 13th September 2015 at the Lincolnshire Showground, Grange-de-Lings, Lincoln LN2 2NA. N.B: A horse may only qualify for the Final once, regardless of the type or number of classes won, placed in or entered. Each qualifier will receive a card and a £10 voucher from Blue Chip. Qualifiers are required to complete an online form at www.idhsgb.com to inform the IDHS (GB) that they have qualified for the Final. Following submission of the online form, a qualifier’s pack will be sent out direct to the qualifier. In the Final, the Champion will be awarded £1,000 prize money, a trophy and a Blue Chip rug. The Reserve Champion will be awarded £500 and 3rd to 7th inclusive will be awarded £100 each. In addition, the highest placed Pure Bred Irish Draught will receive a trophy and £100, the highest placed 158cm (15.2hh) and under will receive a trophy and £50 and the highest placed *Amateur Produced and Ridden Horse will receive a silver salver and a rug. 7 Important Class Entry Criteria and Qualifier Details (cont) 2. For more information please see www.bridgewaterridingclub.com 8 The Broughton Healthcare All Round Irish Draught Points Challenge New this year, we have an exciting opportunity, to recognise the versatility of the Irish Draught / Irish Draught Sport Horse in different disciplines. This excellent incentive will reward the truly versatile Irish Draught / Irish Draught Sport Horses who can excel in ridden, in-hand and jumping classes. Through our very generous sponsor – Broughton Healthcare, this unique opportunity, aimed at amateur owners and competitors with horses that are registered on the Irish Draught or Irish Draught Sport Horse registers (i.e. with a minimum of 25% proven ID breeding) who compete in a range of classes at the show. If there is a tie for first place, the trophy will be shared during the year and each competitor will receive a rug) Rules: To be eligible to earn points in classes, all horses must be registered on either the Irish Draught (GB) or Irish Draught Sport Horse registers (i.e. with a minimum of 25% proven ID breeding) 1. Points will be awarded to the horse, however, it must be owned and ridden/shown by an amateur competitor at all times. (Amateur status: a person who does not engage in breeding, livery, buying, selling, dealing or hiring horses in a commercial capacity. A person who does not show a horse sponsored by a company or commercial firm or a horse for which a person accepts livery or training charges from a person outside the immediate family concerned) 2. Points will not be awarded in Championships 3.
