THE TIME IS NOW!
It has been more than 45 years since Willoughby-Eastlake School District has asked for money to rebuild facilities.
Currently our buildings are in need of $30 million in roof repairs alone. It is time to address the failing facilities so
that your schools will remain viable.

SUMMER LEARNING CAMP….
IT’S NOT YOUR TYPICAL SUMMER SCHOOL
Is it possible to offer a program that is rich in math and English language arts lessons, and provide engaging
enrichment opportunities without local tax dollars? YES!
This past summer, more than 300 students attended the Summer Learning Camp for four
weeks at Grant Elementary School in an effort to prepare them for the next grade level and
IMPROVE STUDENT ACHIEVEMENT. This program was funded entirely with Title I monies
which meant that students were able to obtain a high-quality education while keeping costs

DID YOU KNOW?
Willoughby-Eastlake has added some new and exciting electives and higher level
course offerings for the 2015-2016 school year. These additions include: AP
Psychology, World History, Human Anatomy and Physiology, Current Issues and Trends
in Science, Graphic Design, Computer Aided Design 2D-3D, International Business,
Introduction to Business, Personal Finance, Sports Statistics, Algebra Connections, and
Career Explorations. These new courses offer a wide variety of opportunities for students of all interests. In addition,
high school credit can continue to be earned in the middle schools for Honors Algebra I, Honors Geometry, Honors
English I, Computer Science I, and Spanish. Honors courses in the middle school are offered in the core content areas.
WHAT IS REBEL GROW?
Rebel Grow is a comprehensive Advisory Program that provides freshmen students with support as they transition to high school. Special emphasis is placed on preparing students academically and socially for their four years at South High School. The program is run by upperclassmen students under the direction of a classroom teacher. Read more >>>
