We wish you all a most wonderful Christmas & a Healthy, Happy New Year! St. Patrick’s After School Program: CLOSED on Friday, Dec. 20th. Please make arrangements to have your child picked up promptly at 2:20 PM on Friday (Dec. 20). The last day of St. Patrick’s After School Program will be: THURSDAY, December 19th. Christmas Break Begins: December 23rd. School reopens on Thursday, January 2, 2014. All Yellow School Bus service cancelled on Jan. 2nd. 2. 3. Annual Christmas Show: Friday, December 20th, 12:15 p.m. at St. Patrick’s Upper Church. Students have been working hard to put on a lovely show. Family and friends are encouraged to attend this cheerful musical performance. Show attire: Students should wear semi-formal church clothes please (Holiday Colors if possible). NOTE: St. Patrick’s After School Program is closed on Friday, Dec. 20th. [2:20 dismissal for all.] 4. Six Flags Reading Club: Again this year, St. Patrick School students will participate in the “Six Flags -Read to Succeed- Six Hour Reading Club”, presented by Discovery Education. This program encourages kids to complete six hours of recreational reading and rewards them with a free admission ticket to Six Flags theme park. More info coming in January. 5. PLEASE REMEMBER: November Meal fees are now PAST DUE. December Meal fees are due NEXT WEEK. Many thanks to all who participated in our Fall Fundraiser! New Year’s Resolutions!: Let’s start the New Year off right… REMEMBER-o Proper school uniforms – ALL BLACK shoes ONLY no boots of any kind in class ties for all boys in Grades 1-8 shirts neatly tucked in for all boys and girls navy sweater vests for boys & girls in gr. 6-8 navy sweater vests required for GIRLS in Winter Uniform boys: NO earrings, NO Mohawk haircuts o Be on time – fewer tardy students – school starts at 7:30 am o Come prepared – have all your books and supplies, all textbooks covered o Absolutely NO cell phones or electronic devices in class o ALL cell phones MUST be locked up by teacher or office o Spread the Word – let everyone know that our 2013 – 2014 registration begins January 27, 2014!! Our Daisy Troop #75322 will begin Cookie Sales after Christmas Break!! Daisy Troop #75322 had fun making sweet-smelling Pomanders for Thanksgiving. The scents of citrus, cloves, & cinnamon will leave you feeling energized. Try placing these easy to make air fresheners around your home!
