in Olathe Kansas in January. The team took 7 routines to the two day event.

Shining Star Trophy; Award of Excellence (Choreography) Trophy in pom and
Award of Excellence (Polish/Precision) Trophy in hip hop.

Lawrence to participate in Schϋlerkongress. Students from across the state
came together to participate in different German learning activities.
Although the main focus is for learning and new experiences, many JCHS
students brought home medals in Literature, Culture Quiz, and a Treasure
Hunt.

This award is presented to one senior male and one senior female athlete
that has distinguished their athletic career upholding the department’s core
values.
Mike Champ Scholar Athlete Award: To be announced
This award is presented to one senior male and one senior female athlete
with an outstanding grade point average and who has made a significant
contribution to the overall athletic program during his/her high school
career.
Kim Kilpatrick Award: To be announced
This award is presented to a senior female athlete who has contributed the
most to the overall athletic program during her high school career. Student
must have lettered in two different sports during the course of their
junior/senior season and been selected to an all-league/all-state team in at
least one sport.
Bert McKinsey Award: To be announced
This award is presented to a senior male athlete who has contributed the
most to the overall athletic program during his high school career. Student
must have lettered in two different sports during the course of their
