Immediately across the Anvil Centre on Eighth Street
is the New Westminster SkyTrain station. Less than
a 30-minute ride from downtown Vancouver, the
New Westminster station is serviced by both the
Expo and Millennium Lines. Visitors arriving from
YVR can also connect to SkyTrain via a quick
25-minute ride on the Canada Line from the airport.
And in the summer of 2016, the Evergreen Line
will link the Coquitlam and Tri-Cities area to the

35,000 photographs and archival records that celebrate our city’s stories and history. Our exhibits
focus on the land, people, and development of the place now known as New Westminster. We aspire
to be a fun and entertaining place of learning and use the objects in the museum’s collection as an

Canadian Lacrosse Hall of Fame
The Hall showcases the tradition of lacrosse from its very roots, with galleries honouring the
First Nations who created the game, and exhibits showing the game’s transition into modern life.
Other exhibits feature the unique lacrosse stick, box and field games, lacrosse at the Olympic Games,
and our historic national championship trophies.

The New Westminster New Media Gallery is home to ground-breaking installations by some of the world’s most
renowned contemporary artists. Discover Canada’s national summer sport at the revitalized Canadian Lacrosse Hall
