David Malin
David Malin joined the Anglo-Australian
Observatory as Photographic Scientist
shortly after scheduled observations on
the 3.9 m Anglo-Austalian Telescope
began in June 1975. He is also Adjunct
Professor of Scientific Photography at
the Royal Melbourne Institute of
Technology. He was born in England
and trained as a chemist, working for
many years with a large chemical
company in England. There he used
optical and electron microscopes to
explore the very small before turning
attention to the very large in Australia.

Shipping and Handling to Destinations with the USA
In-stock items usually ship by next business day. Framed posters and gallery prints usually ship within one week, and epoxy mounted gallery prints
usually ship within two weeks. Standard shipping orders are shipped via USPS Priority Mail or other ground carrier. Allow two to five business
days from shipping for delivery. Two-day shipping and next-day shipping orders are shipped via Federal Express or other express carrier.
Shipping for many items is charged on a per item type basis. That is, you pay one low rate for shipping any number of items of the same type
(e.g. calendars, or tee shirts, or gallery prints) to one address. For shipping purposes, items are grouped into categories. Ordering from Category
A, shipping charges for any number of calendars to one address would be $3.95. Add some tee shirts and the shipping charge becomes $7.90

Our framed posters and gallery prints are dry mounted onto sturdy foam core and framed with black
mouldings and a crystal-clear plexiglass glazing. We use only high-quality, hand-crafted (rather than
mass produced) metal or wood mouldings and plexiglass glazings, and we carry out our dry mounting
process to exacting specifications to ensure the best presentation. Our framed posters and gallery prints
are packed into sturdy cardboard boxes for shipping, are suitable for immediate display (they include all
hardware needed for hanging), and look great in homes, offices, classrooms, observatories, corporate
lobbies, or anywhere the impressive look of a framed poster or gallery print is appropriate. Our framed
