Two versions are available of crane radio system, the Enclosed Version designed to be left in the open
and Standard Version designed for mounting inside crane cabs.
Both versions have a gasket that must be secured around the edge of the front panel when mounted
into position. Once secured into place the 4x fixings screws should used to secure front panel and the
control knobs fitted.
Both options have the same internal mounting frame and back box, only the front facia differs.
The Standard Version has facia cut outs allowing
the radio control heads to extend out of the
assembly slightly. The user has full access to all
radio controls including volume.
This Enclosed Version has a full perspex front
facia and the radio equipment is mounted behind
the sealed panel thus protecting the radio devices
and internal equipment. This unit is sealed. Two
additional front knobs are added to allow channel
selection of either VHF or UHF radios. The IP67
Lemo connector is used to interface external
headset normally supplied with in line PTT.
