in the lift stations and approved by the transport authorities.
SHUTDOWN OF OPERATIONS, MALFUNCTIONS AND REDUCED SERVICE: Non-use
of the ski pass due to poor weather conditions, avalanche danger, systems failure,
closure of slopes, unexpected departures etc. are not valid claims for refunds or
extensions. Using the ski slopes is done at one’s own risk. Subject to changes in
operating hours due to snow conditions.

In the beginning of March many off-slope skiers and snowboarders
come to the Pitztal Glacier to the freeride race Pitztal Wild Face, which
is a race on time. Racers must defeat 1,500 metres and 4.6 kilometres
from the start at the Mittagskogel (3,173 m) until the finish in Mandarfen
(bottom station Rifflsee gondola). The Pitztal Wild Face is not only an
experience for racers, but also for spectators.

for numerous ski tours on one day, for example to the Wildspitze, „Hinterer Brochkogel“, „K2“, „Rostizkogel“ and to many others.

IN THE SUMMER
SKI PASS PARTNERSHIPS: The individual services to which the pass entitles you
are provided by independent operators. The company selling the pass acts solely
as a representative of the other operators. The respective operator is therefore
responsible for the provision of these services and for damage claims arising from
any unforeseen incidents.

The Sunna Alm chairlift is the first lift in world to use a recently
developed technology ensuring our smallest guests always travel
safely. The chair arrives in a lower position to make climbing aboard
even easier and the new safety bar closing system ensures the entire
trip is safe and comfortable.
REFUNDS IN THE EVENT OF SKIING ACCIDENTS: In the event of a skiing accident,
money will only be refunded when the ski pass is valid for two days or more. No
refunds will be made to accompanying persons. The refund is calculated from the
time the ski pass is handed in and not from the day of the accident. A medical
certificate from a local doctor must be obtained and presented before any refund
can be given.
LOSS: Lost ski passes will only be replaced upon presentation of a code-blocking
receipt (till receipt) and for a processing fee. A replacement keycard must also be
paid for.

ski area and back, stopping at all stops according to the current ski bus

PISTE RESCUE: Should you need to be rescued on the slopes, you will be charged by
us and required to pay in cash.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS: Instructions from the lift and slope personnel must be
strictly obeyed for safety reasons. Any infringement of these instructions or disorderly behaviour on the slopes will result in the passenger no longer being permitted to
use the lifts. The ski pass will be confiscated and not replaced!

Thanks to the Pitztal VVT ski bus, you can get to the Rifflsee ski area
and Pitztal Glacier from all Pitztal locations. Take advantage of the

KEYCARDS: Our card system is exclusively on contact-free data carriers (key card).
Up to 2-day ski pass are issued on KeyCards light without deposit. From a 2,5-day
ski pass a deposit of € 5.00 will be charged for the key card. The deposit will be
returned by bringing back the undamaged key card. The key card may be returned
at all ticket counters of the Pitztaler Gletscherbahn or the tourism office, sporting
goods stores or hotel receptions. All lift ticket verification is done electronically at
all gondolas and the lifts in the skiing area. Non-skiers are issued magnetic tickets
for single trips, which must be inserted into the appropriate card readers.

in immediate confiscation and a fine equal to triple the daily tariff. We reserve the
